Hotel is on the hill top, centre of the old town, next to Sintra Palace, has parking garage, convenient place. Road are tight.
There are restaurants and pastry shop around, no supermarkets.
Place of interests in old town are spread so far apart by hilly roads. Pena palace on top of the hill.. Walking is possible but not advisable.
Hotel staff is reasonable. We stayed 2 nights and things are about standard for NH hotel... But they do charge you coffee capsules if u stay longer.. Ask.

Good Hotel. Clean and nice.
We stayed here for two nights and got the room with a balcony and able to see the palace at night.
Friendly reception.
Totally recommended to stay over Sintra for those who don’t want a hectic early day trip from Lisbon.

Only the milk in the coffee machine at room was out of date .

Great location, literally right next to one of the palaces. Decent views if you got that from your room or you can go down to lobby bar. However the the hotel is very old and the staff are somewhat arrogant (when you tell them something is broken they just unapologetically tell you there's nothing they can do, or ask for something, they give you unfeasible alternative solutions.

We had a great stay - the hotel lobby is beautifully designed and the rooms are very simple but cleans and comfortable.

It's just opposite the Sintra Palace. The room is very clean. We also gave a surprise for the celebration. Thank you. Only the wash basin is prone to shallow water, so be careful when washing your hands. The parking lot is 15 euros per day, and I parked at the metered spot in front. However, it is better to take the bus to other attractions because parking at other attractions is difficult.
