Topas Ecolodge

I have stayed here twice 5 years apart! The latest stay was with my 2 year old and it is still as good as I remembered. The design of this place and attention to detail upon checking-in is impressive. During winter, the open fires and complimentary mulled wine is a good touch. So remote but worth it. The food options are plenty on site. The breakfast is opulent. The best infinity pool you will ever swim in too! My toddler enjoyed the playground too.

This was an incredible three night stay. From our initial enquires via email to our check out, the whole experience was brilliant. Rooms were lovely, views superb. We booked the smallest villa and I’m sure we had the best views. Staff were really friendly. Local villagers are employed and the lodge is really clear that may have some language challenges but it adds so much to the stay. Great tours and food and lovely extras like the sunset drinks. The spa and the pool add to the luxury.

Amazing place. Fantastic accommodation, views and staff. We stayed here for 24 hours after our treks in Sapa. It was a real treat. The infinity pools with views over the mountains were stunning. Great restaurant and pool bar. Drinks on the sunset terrace. Brilliant breakfast. All in all a lovely end to our holiday.

It’s was simply relaxing stay at the Topas. The food, the spa and the staffs are amazing! We will definitely be back. A must to try the spa if you stay over. The booking and the update are seamless too.

Can’t say enough positive things about our stay at Topas Ecolodge! The surrounding landscape is breathtaking. Views of the mountains, valley and local villages are constantly varied with clouds moving all around and thru the resort. The staff are all friendly and eager to please. The bungalows are charming, clean and modern with local flair. The beds are super comfortable. The restaurants have so many great selections ranging from local fare to fusion to Western dishes. Everything we tried was first rate. The travel coordinator arranged a trip short notice for us to hike up Fansipan. Kevin took care of every single detail and it went as planned.

This resort is up on the top of a ridge with amazing views, when the mist/ cloud allows. Service is excellent and the pools are spectacular. Be prepared to walk between your room and anywhere as they are scattered far and wide: this keeps things private and allows you to really enjoy the views. If getting the BBQ meal for dinner be prepared for a ridiculously large amount of food. It is very good but too much food was wasted sadly. Take advantage of happy hours and welcome drinks. Highly recommend doing the walks around the area. Excellent guides! The locals will follow you to sell you items but they are lovely and friendly.

This is an amazingly beautiful place close to SaPa, with breathtaking views over the mountains and a sustainable living model. We had 2 adjacent storey bungalows, which could be interconnected, that were beautifully appointed, clean, warm and quiet, with a Nespresso machine and loose tea, as well as evening treats at the turndown. The restaurants (360 and Stilts) had an excellent mixture of Vietnamese /European food for the buffet breakfast and for the fine-dinkng dinners, with lovely service. The Rice Spa had a good selection of massages in cosy rooms. We visited in March 2024 so there was a lot of mist and cloud cover,. I am sure later in the year, it must have spectacular views. A definite find and well worth the trip.

We spent 3 nights at the Lodge at the end of February. As the weather was so awful, cold and thick fog, we were unable to see anything nor could we make use of the infinity pool. That said we really liked the Lodge. Our room probably had a great view on a clear day[!], was spacious, warm and well provided. All staff were first class-m well done to them all. Breakfast was in the restaurant and ample and with a varied choice. We ate on 3 evenings in the inn bar which is a bit like an English pub with a log fire and a wide range of food and drink, all very reasonably priced. The bar staff were lovely and very efficient

We spent five days in the ecolodge in a wonderful poolvilla. It felt a little bit like being home. Altough we had rain most of the time, we didn't want to miss a minute in this wonderful, natural environment with friendly people. It is the perfect place to relax. We spent one day at Fansipan, an excursion we highly recommend. Thanks to the whole Team of the ecolodge for great days.
