La'gent Stay Shin Sapporo

The hotel has a nice style and the rooms are clean. I really liked the separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom and the shower — it was very convenient to use. The only thing I wasn't quite used to was the sink being right next to the bed, as water could easily splash out. It's a huge plus that the windows can open. All the toiletries are well-stocked, and there are malls and supermarkets nearby.

This is by far the most comfortable hotel I've stayed at in Japan. Here are the highlights: 1. Direct access to JR and subway stations without having to go outside, which was a lifesaver with luggage in the heavy snow. 2. The public bath (daiyokujo) was very comfortable. Although it wasn't a natural hot spring, the women's bathing area really stood out with its thoughtful details: Dyson hairdryers and showerheads, and POLA cleansing oil, toner, and lotion. My hair felt smooth and voluminous after washing, not frizzy at all – I'm now a big fan of Dyson! 3. The bedding was incredibly comfortable; I felt completely at home with no sense of being in a foreign land. We stayed for six days on a family trip and booked two rooms. Each room had ample space to easily open two suitcases. 4. The staff were always friendly and greeted us warmly. Even though rooms weren't cleaned daily, yukatas and towels were replenished as needed. 5. There's a microwave and ice machine on the fifth floor, and complimentary coffee and drinks are available on the first floor. My kids loved this hotel and said they want to stay here again.

After reading other reviews, I can confirm what everyone says: the subway and JR stations are right near the hotel. You can access the hotel directly via a connecting walkway on the second floor, making transportation incredibly convenient. I remember it being Shin-Sapporo station. We stayed for four nights and the breakfast was good. The only regret is that we missed one breakfast because we had to catch a flight, haha, I really miss it! During our stay, we experienced heavy snowfall, so we could enjoy the beautiful scenery while eating.

This is an absolutely excellent hotel! The front desk staff are warm, polite, and highly professional. The hotel itself is spotless and incredibly hygienic. It has almost all the facilities you'd need for a comfortable stay, including free afternoon tea, a large public bath, a relaxation area, a microwave, washing machines, and even an ice machine – and all of these are genuinely complimentary. For its price point, this is undoubtedly a fantastic hotel that will provide a very pleasant experience. Plus, there's a direct walkway connecting the hotel to the JR station, a shopping mall, and the subway. The breakfast is affordable, and the restaurant ambiance is elegant. I'm willing to spend ten minutes writing this review, which speaks volumes about its incredible value for money!

The room was quite spacious, and the hotel facilities were excellent and very new. The location was super convenient. You can walk directly to the hotel from Shin-Sapporo Station via an indoor walkway, which was a huge plus as we didn't have to drag our luggage outside. Highly recommended!
