Jozankei Daiichi Hotel Suizantei

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean, and had modern, tasteful decor. They provided a wide array of toiletries and various bathrobes. The room layout was well-designed, offering a beautiful view outside the window, perfect for guests to relax. The room was fully equipped, with separate functional areas.

The room was a large, traditional Japanese style. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There's a lounge with complimentary drinks and snacks. The rooftop open-air onsen requires separate payment and reservation (the first picture is of the public lounge area). It's within walking distance of Futami Park.

This onsen hotel is definitely worth the price. The environment and hygiene are excellent, and the room layout is fantastic. The yukata was the most comfortable I wore during my Hokkaido trip. The service was absolutely superb, especially the proprietress at the Kaiseki restaurant, Shoan. She was incredibly elegant and generous, giving us an authentic and meticulous Japanese service experience. The private onsen with a fee had average views. The outdoor public onsen was closed on the day of my stay due to cold weather. The indoor onsen, for a hotel of this price point, was quite ordinary. Therefore, I wasn't entirely satisfied with the onsen experience. All in all, while it might not be exceptionally surprising, this is a hotel that's well worth its price.

The environment is beautiful, but the hygiene is pretty subpar. There was hair in the room when I checked in. Everything else was quite good though.
