The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean, and had modern, tasteful decor. They provided a wide array of toiletries and various bathrobes. The room layout was well-designed, offering a beautiful view outside the window, perfect for guests to relax. The room was fully equipped, with separate functional areas.

The room was a large, traditional Japanese style. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There's a lounge with complimentary drinks and snacks. The rooftop open-air onsen requires separate payment and reservation (the first picture is of the public lounge area). It's within walking distance of Futami Park.

The room was clean and comfortable, although the water pressure in the bathroom was a bit low. However, it did have a small hot spring bath. The public hot springs had both indoor and outdoor options, and it wasn't too crowded when I went. There's a free lounge with various drinks, alcoholic beverages, and snacks you can enjoy freely. The included breakfast and dinner were also decent.

This onsen hotel is definitely worth the price. The environment and hygiene are excellent, and the room layout is fantastic. The yukata was the most comfortable I wore during my Hokkaido trip. The service was absolutely superb, especially the proprietress at the Kaiseki restaurant, Shoan. She was incredibly elegant and generous, giving us an authentic and meticulous Japanese service experience. The private onsen with a fee had average views. The outdoor public onsen was closed on the day of my stay due to cold weather. The indoor onsen, for a hotel of this price point, was quite ordinary. Therefore, I wasn't entirely satisfied with the onsen experience. All in all, while it might not be exceptionally surprising, this is a hotel that's well worth its price.

The environment is beautiful, but the hygiene is pretty subpar. There was hair in the room when I checked in. Everything else was quite good though.

Location: If you couldn't book the hotel's free shuttle or the Kappa Liner bus, you can take rapid bus #7 or #8 from Sapporo city center to Daiichi Hotel Mae, and the hotel is right there. There's also a bus to Sapporo Ski Resort that stops at the same platform. Room Amenities: The room was clean, tidy, and very spacious, and it even had its own private hot spring bath. I booked a package that included breakfast and dinner. The food was just okay, but there was a self-service bar and some snacks.

The room was quite spacious and clean, and the service was decent. I stayed for two nights, but the food was a bit repetitive and lacked any real surprises. There also aren't many dining options around, so choices are quite limited.

It was an enjoyable stay. The lounge area still open till late with different small snacks at different time intervals. Books are available for sales at the ‘library

Not the most convenient way to get if arriving on a international flight since there is no direct airport to Jozankei bus due to temporary or permanent suspension. However, once you arrive, the stress melts away with various types of onsen (in room, public, paid private, etc.) and the place feeds you well. The lounge area really knows how to keep the guest fed with assorted local delicacies from early morning (few pastries and Hokkaido milk with berries) to late night drinks and nibbles (rice, pickles, sweets and assorted Japanese sakes and beer). The onsen also is stocked with popsicles and full toiletries. The only subpar experience was the Kaiseki dinner which I felt it was just OK compared to many exceptional restaurants and ryokans in Japan that excels in gastronomy, on the other hand, the breakfast was tasty with great local selections (steamed potatoes with Hokkaido butter was so good). The room decor and feature is like many other ryokans in Japan and the service was also polite but not personalized nor attentive. Having said that, I would recommend this place but when I visited, most of the guests were foreigners and not Japanese.

The room is very spacious, and the private hot spring is fantastic. The lounge on the 2nd floor is super chill and great, and there's also a private hot spring that you can reserve.

Nice Onsen resort and we like the private Onsen inside the room. The room is huge but it will be great if it has international channels or even Netflix or YouTube. It provides transport to Sapporo so that is great. Nice free drinks and snacks at night.
