Illyrian Boutique Hotel

Please be aware that this hotel is currently closed. We had made a booking and turned up last week to be finally told it was closed until April. I cannot comment on the rooms etc but would advise anyone making a booking to check before arriving that it is still valid. In our experience the communication needs to improve.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel for two nights. It is in a perfect location halfway along the promenade just one street back. My room was very spacious and well equipped. The bathroom was also a good size with a great shower. Everything was very clean and new. There was a nice restaurant down below which served breakfast and the staff were all very friendly. Unfortunately the rooftop bar was closed for renovations while I was staying but there were plenty of other places nearby to choose from.

Please beware choosing to stay here, there is a nightclub upstairs which has a Di until 12 and then music continues after this time. We didn’t know until we checked it. There is also a mosque nearby which means call to pray starts playing just as you possibly made it to sleep. I told the reception when I checked out this was an issue that should be told to guests beforehand, as I would not have booked if I had known. There appears to be no sound proofing in the rooms, the rooms are also very small and outdated. Our walls has water damage inside the room. Additionally all the costumers going to the rooftop bar have to use the same lift/stairs at the hotel, which doesn’t feel safe as they can easily open and come into the rooms area as no lock on this door. We also had a day when we were told we couldn’t use the lift because they were transporting kegs of alcohol up to the bar - and wouldn’t even consider stopping to let us use the lift as paying hotel customers. I would suggest you avoid!

Really friendly staff, who helped us with everything (at the reception they gave us information, and called taxis for us when needed) The ladies from the breakfast area were very friendly, they were careful about what was missing, and were cleaning the tables very quickly The rooms were clean, and quite big(spacious), and there was everyday cleaning (changed the towels, toilet paper etc, and refilled the mini-bar (it was a basic one but with good prices at water and sodas)) The hotel is in the city center, but is a quiet area, so it's perfect. They have a great rooftop club in the last floor of the hotel.

Great place to spend the night or a few days of vacation in Saranda. Butique hotel was CHEAP compared to every other location. Clean rooms, with all the necessities and a welcoming atmosphare. We would reccomend it

Very good hotel in Saranda. Large and clean rooms. Good and helpful hotel service. Friendly management. Good price. They had several "fun and good time" options, including their club on last floor of the hotel. The food was good and drinks were great.

We stayed at the Illyrian Hotel during our trip in Saranada. Owners also had a cool restaurant called Lemontree and a club called Rooftop, both were also great. The place was clean, cozy and the prices were ok. Food was good too and the service was very friendly. Would recommend

This is a beautiful hotel! It’s clean and has a lot of comfort items to make you feel at home. Whenever we're in Saranda we spend the night here. Prices are fine and it has a cool looking place in the last floor part of the hotel, the RoofTop.

Illyrian Boutique Hotel was a great place to spend a week's holiday in Saranda. The rooms were clean and tidy, and there was room service daily. We had an inclusive in-the-price breakfast that was also delicious and had plenty of options. Sea was nearby, and the view from the room balcony was great, especially during sunsets. On the last floor of the hotel was the club, Rooftop Lounge, also part of the hotel where we enjoyed ourselves and went pretty much every night.
