Warm hospitality at its best. Well located in Bandhavgarh Tala gate: 7-10 mins Magadhi: 25 mins Khitauli: 20 mins The resort is a relaxed stay even if you are not going for a safari. Special shoutout to our driver + guide Ramesh who helped us see the park beyond tigers Great food which was not oily....both conti + indian options. Each and everyone from the staff was warm and always ready to help. A good place to stay in bandhavgarh

Our first stop on our Tiger Tour of Madhya Pradesh was a wonderful introduction to both this part of India and the promise of things to come. The staff were friendly, courteous and always helpful, so much so as to arrange for a "quiet" meal outside in the wonderful Garden with Braziers and clear skies it was a memorable night ***** with the ***y other experiences both at the resort and with our guide Uttam in the park. A good focus on sustainability with links to both the water and food supplies but as mentioned by ***y the Hot Water bottles were a great memory and provided both warmth and comfort at the time of year we travelled.

Can not praise Pugdundee safaris highly enough. We stayed in three of their properties. Each one was top class. As in every one, at King's Lodge the staff were wonderful, the food amazing, our room perfect. They also have a highly admirable eco policy-no plastic and you are given a metal water bottle that you can fill up at stations across all their properties. Ingredients are either grown on site in their organic gardens or locally sourced. Just wish we could have stayed at each one longer to make full use of all the facilities and activities on offer. But of course we came to see tigers and we most certainly did.

Our third lodge - where we stayed 3 nights was probably the best experience. Uttam was an excellent naturalist, and we were fortunate enough to have some stunning views of Tigers, including having D1 with us for 15 minutes on a very special sighting with just us. Truly a magical experience - as was the whole experience at the lodge.

Had a wonderful stay at Kings Lodge. A fantastic team provide wonderful service from the moment you arrive. The food is of the highest quality and the accommodation is extremely comfortable and spacious. Would certainly recommend this as a place to stay and experience the beautiful Bandhavgarh park.

An excellent comfortable lodge with friendly, helpful and attentive staff. We stayed in a stilted cottage which was roomy and well equipped. The food was excellent: well presented and tasty. Dining outside was a bonus. The lodge is also a short drive from the park entrance. The game drives from the lodge were memorable. Veer, our driver/guide was exceptional. He was friendly, informative of flora and fauna and the history of the park and its environs. We really enjoyed our stay and the the encounters with tigers were fantastic!

For someone like me, who travels every month for work and having stayed in 100+ hotels (business and luxury) globally, this is by far the best place. And not just because the rooms are nice and big but because staff is very sweet and hospitable. The food tasted like home made fresh food. 100% worth the money.

Excellent service all round. Attentive and well trained staff. Food was also top draw and there was enough variation for those who wanted it but the Indian dishes were superb. The ***ager spent a lot of time with the guests ensuring that everyone was happy. The standard of the accommodation was also very good. Would highly recommend Kings Lodge. Well done all, pleasure to be with you.

The third and final resort on our tour of the parks and a great way to finish. The whole area is immaculate, the food was something to look forward too, but the packed breakfast was not the best we had experienced. The room was great, hot water bottle at night when its high 20s, made us smile and service was excellent by every single member of staff, a credit to all. Some details lost in translation but thats part of the fun. Travelled with Tiger Safari who provided the guide etc and they as usual proved invaluable. Saw everything except sloth bear but did come very close to a herd of elephants without warning, quick reverse and no issue. We would without doubt return and have no qualms in advising a stay here.
