Had a great time staying within the lovely Dandenongs at this tranquil pristine cottage....plenty of curious and friendly Birdlife around to enjoy it with also. Highly recommended

The location is relatively close to the train. The room is very cozy and feels like home. The ingredients for your own breakfast are complete, including fried eggs and toast, as well as milk and orange juice, and a hot water bottle.

We stayed in a two-room, three-person room, which was very comfortable and romantic. There was red wine and chocolate. Breakfast provided real food to make by yourself, which was good.

These cottages are beautiful, and in an excellent location. They are also stocked with lots of lovely little extras. The property is quiet and filled with birdsong. Very relaxing. George was so helpful during our stay, helping us pick out nice walks, and letting us know shortly after we left that we had forgotten something so we could return to pick it up.

Beautiful setting and wonderfully appointed cottage in the wilderness. Full kitchen and hearty breakfast was provided. The hosts were great. The cottage was cozy and warm. Very convenient to Sassafras and Olinda. Would be very happy to stay here again.

Perfect in every way. It’s as if our hosts Jane and George sat down and created a list of everything that anyone could want, then brought it to life! “The Stables” 2 bedroom cottage was peaceful, calming and relaxing. It was so warm and cozy (thanks to the gas log fire), the view from the lounge to the gorgeous garden was spectacular (we could watch the birds also have fun), the TV & DVD were very handy and there were also books and magazines. The included breakfast was plentiful, including eggs, bacon, cereals, bread, milk, orange juice, baked beans, yoghurt etc. A real treat were the treats. Chocolate, port, a bottle of bubbly (if staying 2 nights or more), bikkies and marshmallows for the hot chocolate. If it wasn’t winter we would’ve sat on the deck and also used the BBQ in the garden. It’s also just 1.5k from the “centre of town”, where all the shops are. Overall it was magnificent. We can’t wait to return. Thank you Jane and George!!
