Das Konig Ludwig Inspiration Spa

Das Konig Ludwig Inspiration SPA in Germany is a beautiful hotel. The place is very luxurious, modern, well kept, with great ambiance and great staff. The pool is amazing. The room are very unique and wonderful, as well as the food they provided. They also have great wellness facilities available! A must visit !

DKL is a very nice Hotel with outstanding facilities! The pools are great and all the facilities are modern and clean. We had the breakfast and dinner included and the food was superb as well as the service. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was ok but you could see it was a bit older. We needed a topper for the bed as it was very firm the first night. With the topper, it was comfortable. We had a small living room as well which was ok but the furniture was a bit old fashioned but still comfortable. The TV is mounted a bit high on the wall for me. You must look up to watch. My biggest minus for DKL as an American was the lack of any TV channels in English, not even one! This should be corrected. However, we enjoyed our 3 night stay very much and wold return in the future!

The König Ludwig is within sight of Neuschwanstein Castle The hotel has 4 stars + and see good reviews on google. That's why we chose it. The hotel is in the price category €400 per night, including breakfast and a 5-course dinner. pros and cons + + Super friendly and always tried staff. That deserves 5 stars! ++ Excellent location for trips to the royal castles or the Zugspitze ++ good wellness offers ++ good breakfast buffet ++ Nice bar ++ Large selection of drinks ++ Storage room for bicycles and charging facility for e-bikes + Sauna and pool area are ok for this price category +/-Dinner is ok, but often over-engineered. Simpler and good would fit better. Some courses are simply wanted and not skillful. It's just not a star kitchen - The rooms are ok, but getting old. We have had much more modern and larger rooms in this price category Overall the König Ludwig is OK, but a bit too expensive for the performance offered. follow me on instagram #travel_with_franky

Excellent service, beautiful facilities. Whole in there got to know they train students (azubies?) , our waiters mostly all young students all super kind and willing to help, they spoke perfect english, what a treat! Spa and wellness areas were neat and clean, the room clean and comfortable, the breakfast and dinner plenty and delicious. Will come back.

You may love this place, as lots of locals do, so I don't want to put those off who want a very German experience in a resort with some of the largest selections of pools outside of the Madison Dell area. We're a couple who like privacy and culture and good food ( doesn't have to be too complicated) and were a bit disappointed with the cost-hotel room quality. The rooms are simple, as of course most people are outside biking or swimming or visiting local attractions. Pillows were like cement. But as I said, many may like it. Staff were certainly nice.

I arrived in to a very warm welcome in the Lobby. I was then taken to one side for an explanation of how the hotel works. During this I was given a chilled glass of 'bubbly'. Explanations over I was escorted to my room, a super suite looking out over a grassy meadow. I chose to have dinner early and it was superb - Michelin Star quality - with excellent table service. Breakfast did not disappoint with a magnificent spread, along with the possibility to order from a short menu. Do go and immerse yourself in the comfort and luxury of this hotel.
