Scipio Hotel

Location: The hotel is conveniently located near major highways , offering easy access for travelers and quick on/off ramps. It is situated in a small rural area with nearby amenities like a gas station, convenience store, and limited local access.

We spent 4 nights in this place. Pictures of room are not accurate other than the lobby which was quite nice. We didn't have breakfast so we can't speak about that but our room left much to be desired. There were boogers on the wall, what looked like remnants of puke on the wall and the rug was dingy. The shower is yellowed, the sink in our room squeaked annoyingly and there was still chinese from a previous lgurst eft in the refrigerator and it had definitely been there for awhile. When we asked for housekeeping midstay we were met with an odd look and response that made it feel like we were requesting something out of the ordinary. And then we returned to find the trash cans and a spare roll of t.p.had been just left in front of the door.There was a stink bug in the room that one of us had to flush down the toilet. The only plus was that the bed was clean. Upon check in he asked us at least 3 times if we were staying 4 nights like we had booked. The process took much longer than it should have. We will definitely not be staying here again. It was far overpriced for what it is.

The manager was offensive and rude and the room was dirty. I only stayed one night and left. already paid for the second night but lost that money. All around bad experience.Too harsh for a review? Check-in was frustrating. The front desk staff was unfriendly and unprofessional. We asked to check in one hour early and were told we could — but only if we paid $25 in cash. The room itself was dirty, with a filthy tub and a faucet that wouldn’t shut off completely. We had booked for two nights but left after one. No refund was offered, but honestly, we were just glad to leave. We found a much better place in Salina instead.
