The Inn at Scituate Harbor

If not for the location, I would not stay here again or recommend it. The front desk staff were rude and indifferent. When coming and going, no one said hello or looked up. On the last day, we let the front desk staff know that we had a fair number of ants in our room. No apology but did say thank you. On check out no one asked us how are stay was. No customer service. The rooms were clean but tired.

We had a lovely 1 night stay here, the lady that checked us in was super friendly and helpful and made sure we had everything we needed and recommended restaurants for us. The rooms are really spacious, with a sitting area, lovely and clean. Breakfast is a really basic grab and go, but that suited us! we would definitely go back.

Awful experience after checking out. They charged my mother for a suite with 3 people. She has the “paid in full/3 people” receipt to prove it. When I informed her after leaving that they had also charged my credit card an additional $70+ she called to let them know about the error. She sent them the confirmation she had .. but when she called back to follow up, they shouted and HUNG UP ON HER! It’s not about the money at this point, it’s about the atrocious customer service. I plan to file a dispute with my credit card company.

Please do yourself a favor and do not book a stay at this Inn! We booked 5 rooms over 12 months prior to my Son wedding and it was nothing but stress and aggravation every step of the way. The management is impossible to work with, they are rude, change policy as they choose and over charge,we paid $369 per night off season. We attempted on 9/6 to simply change the name of the person who was going to occupy one of our booked rooms (our stay dates were 10/27-10/29) so that our guest didn’t have issues at check in. This is the response I received from Lynda, Manager, “I am honestly done with your wedding for now. Please do not call, show up or email with more changes, to check on reservations or any questions regarding any reservations until 10/23, at which time you can email any updates to me….” What they failed to understand is that with weddings you are not sure of who will be coming and staying until really the last two months and so we needed to be able to work with reasonable people committed to good customer service! In our case we were stuck b/c between our family and my daughter in laws family we had about 15 rooms booked and they are the only Inn/Hotel in Scituate- No competition! If you have a large function or wedding and need multiple accommodations please book outside of Scituate and absolutely not at this Inn! They do not deserve your business! Awful people!!!!

My daughter and I stayed overnight in a double Queen bed room overlooking the harbor. What a view. Booking was easy and communication excellent. Appreciated the guidebook they emailed over to review Inn policies, restaurants and landmarks. Room was clean and beds were very comfortable. Bathroom was immaculate. Front desk staff was welcoming and informative. Inn was very quiet in the evening and traffic noise was minimal. We were not expecting much for breakfast but the cereal,muffins,fruit and hot coffee were most welcomed. Lovely patio to eat on that looks out to the water. Inn also has beach passes for the day however weather was not agreeable for a beach day. Lots of areas to walk and sit Oceanside watching the boats go by. What a gem. Looking forward to a return visit to explore more of the area and take advantage of the hiking trails, seafood and quaint shops.

We walked in and were greeted by a lovely front desk agent who offered information on the Inn and area. Our room was on the 3rd floor overlooking the harbor. It was very spacious with lovely furnishings and very clean. The grounds of the Inn are beautiful as well as the rooms and common areas. The location is walkable to many stores and restaurants. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend the property! Thank you for having such a beautiful place in a great seaside town.
