This place is so special. We had the family suite and the views from our balcony were incredible and straight out of a fairytale. So charming and beautifully restored. The pool is also incredible and the gardens are beautiful. Staff attentive and genuine. The only setbacks were that we found the decor in our room a little dated and tired. More homely I suppose and not modern or new, but perhaps that is to keep in line with the whole vibe and era of the place. Also there was no air conditioning in our room. The day we arrived was very hot so we had only a few hours sleep as the heat was terrible! Lastly, I received a massage there and without asking the woman massaged my breasts! I don't know if that is the norm in Italy but it's not in Australia and it was really weird and uncomfortable. Being that you are servicing international guests I think they should ask beforehand about manhandling people's private parts as not all cultures dig it! Other than those three things, loved it and wished we could have stayed longer.

We stayed for 2 nights as the base for our wedding in Umbria. We cannot fault this place. Firstly we are so impressed that time and money has been taken to save what was a crumbling, abandoned village. Now a dispersed hotel it is a wonderful escape from the world. From start to finish the staff provided an excellent service. The suites converted from the original houses are spacious and tastefully decorated with everything you need. The terrace bar has amazing views, the food was amazing, real experience. We loved it. There is so much more to say about thus beautiful place Look it up!

We just returned from spending 5 wonderful days at Castello di Postignano. The hotel is stunning, surrounded by nature. It is so special and beautiful, and the pool is amazing! The service was beyond excellent. The staff is incredible, everyone was so so nice and willing to help in every possible way. We took a big room with 2 bedrooms and a terrace. During the day it was so nice to sit in the afternoon with a glass of wine and at night you can see hundreds of starts in the sky. Our stay was also during a heat wave in Europe but in Postignano we didn't feel the heat (when we went to other places we felt the difference and we were so grateful we were staying there!). There is no AC but you can ask for a ventilator which was enough. Definitely recommend this special hotel!

Mio marito ed io insieme al nostro cagnolino,abbiamo trascorso tre giorni di Pasqua in questo Castello meraviglioso,al di sopra di ogni aspettativa! Ogni cosa e' un opera d' arte ! Borgo bellissimo,curato in ogni particolare. Ristorante di altissimo livello, dove siamo stati coccolati nello spirito e nel palato! Camera meravigliosa ,pulitissima, un bagno che lascia letteralmente a bocca aperta,silenzio e pace assoluta e la totale assenza di plastica fa ancora di piu apprezzare questo posto da sogno . Che dire del personale tutti gentilissimi e accoglienti! Vicinanza ai paesi e borghi umbri come Spoleto Spello,Foligno,Cascia , Norcia e altri. Siamo rimasti entusiasti di aver scoperto un posto così bello dove il tempo si e' fermato e dove si respira a pieni polmoni il totale relax. Sicuramente ci torneremo! Grazie a tutto lo staff! Luogo unico ed incantevole immerso nel verde della parte più naturale dell'Umbria risultato di un'intraprendente recupero perfettamente riuscito. Camere/Appertamenti sobri ed eleganti con il giusto mix tra allestimenti rustici e moderni. Ristrutturazione esemplare. Relax assicurato con a breve distanza tanti luoghi d'interesse da visistare. Camere tutte inevitabilmente differenti, la prima "Norcia" molto più bella della seconda. Ristorante buono con personale molto amabile. Reception presente anche se un po distratta, abbiamo avuto un inconveniente nel nostro secondo soggiorno ma lo abbiamo dovuto risolvere autonomamente Anche se lo avevamo comunicato è sfuggito al personale. Non essendo un inconveniente da poco e non essendo stato risolto mi sarei aspettato un'attenzione, vista anche la competenza dei responsabili, ma non c'è stata. Colazione, servita su di una terrazza spettacolare che si affaccia sulla verde valle, buona ma migliorabile, specie nella gestione della clientela. Bella la piscina nel verde, dove va trovata una soluzione più efficace per gli insetti che tuttavia in campagna sono obiettivamente difficili da domare. Voto massimo malgrado i piccoli difetti grazie alla memoria dell'incanto del luogo. Ci vorrei tornare
