Mein Mann und ich waren das erste Mal im August 2020 im Gasthof Berghof am Semmering für 4 Tage zu Gast und waren so begeistert, dass wir neben einem Wochenendtripp im Juni auch unseren Haupturlaub im August 2021 hier am Semmering verbrachten. Wir buchten wieder ein Themenzimmer. Doch sind auch alle anderen Zimmer groß, wunderschön und sehr sauber. Die Wirtsleute und die Kellner sind unglaublich nett und zuvorkommend. Der Semmering bietet auch im Sommer sehr viele Wander- und Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. Morgens kann man sogar kilometerweit die Johannesloipe entlang laufen gehen (ohne Steigung, was für mich Flachländer wichtig ist) Alles ist vom Berghof aus zu Fuß erreichbar, der Bahnhof ebenfalls. Über einen idyllischen Waldweg gelangt man in einer Stunde nach Maria Schutz. Darüber hinaus veranstaltet die Juniorchefin immer wieder geführte Wanderungen und Musikabende mit wunderbarer Tanzmusik und großartigen Interpreten. Auch das Essen ist traumhaft gut, das Frühstück reichhaltig.
