3.7/5The hotel has seen it's better days as Sofitel previously. Checking in/out was a breeze and service was good. Rooms are getting a bit worn out and at night, it's very quiet. Good for those who loves a quiet environment. Bed has a squeaky sound as it may have worn out too but it's good enough for a comfortable rest. Air condition works well and heated water is available with good pressure. The lights maintenance wasn't properly done as many bulbs were fused around the staircases areas and it was dark. Mosquitoes are aplenty when you venture outside at night. The place is probably good for its golfing as I see many guests were busy taking the buggy to the greens early in the morning. I stayed here more than 20 years ago and it was one of the best resort hotel in Johor Bahru back then but over the years, lack of maintenance probably deteriorated the rooms conditions.
