Tazawako Lake Resort & Onsen

The hotel is large, the rooms are very clean, and the surrounding scenery is beautiful. Dinner and breakfast are buffets, and the taste is okay. The hot springs are indoor and outdoor, and they are very comfortable. Lake Tazawa is also very beautiful, and the water is clear.

It takes two and a half hours from Ueno to Lake Tazawa. There is a shuttle bus from the hotel, but unfortunately there is no shuttle bus after 17:00. Since we had already arrived, we could only take a taxi to Tazawa Lake Hot Spring Resort, which cost about 2800-3000 yen. Dinner ended at 21:00, we arrived around 19:00, and got on base safely. You can soak in the hotel hot spring until 24 o'clock. Breakfast starts around 6:30 and lasts until 9:00. You can ask the hotel front desk for a disposable skin care kit. The only complaint is that the room is on the second floor of the annex building. I can hear the sound of water all night. I don't know if it is the hot spring or the kitchen. Those who are sensitive to sound will ask for a higher room. Dinner and breakfast are all buffet.

We stayed with our family. There was a mistake in our reservation entry procedure, so thank you for accommodating two additional children on the day at short notice. We also stayed here in April last year, and the sushi🍣 at the evening buffet was delicious. The squid sushi was especially great.
