Overall, the hotel was neat and cleanliness was not bad. Breakfast was also quite delicious.
In general, I think it is a very good value hotel.
Nevertheless, I would like to separately discuss some of the disadvantages below.
First, I felt that the air inside the hotel was quite dry and dusty.
Normally most hotels tend to be dry, but it felt particularly bad. The reason I felt this way is because for a few days, my throat hurt so much when I woke up, and after returning home, my entire family's throats were so inflamed that they had to go to the hospital.
First of all, it was difficult to leave the window open for ventilation (at check-in, I was warned that the wind was strong and the open window could be damaged), and since most people go out during the day, it was not enough to ventilate briefly in the evening. Additionally, since the heating was based on a hot air fan, it got even drier when I turned it on, so I ended up sleeping with the heating off at night. Fortunately, it wasn't that cold even with the heating turned off.
There may be some opinions about the location of the hotel, but I don't think it's bad since it's next to Seogwipo Ollae Market and next to a food alley. Nevertheless, the reason for giving it a low rating is that the hotel is located in an alley, and it was quite difficult to get in and out by car, especially in the evening, as there were cars parked on both sides of the road. You can imagine the alleyways of the villa village. If you are traveling or the car you rent is small or smaller, there may not be much inconvenience, but if it is mid-sized or larger, you may face a very difficult situation. (The entrance section is one-way. It may be more convenient if you ignore the one-way traffic and come in the opposite direction, but since it is a reverse route to regular traffic... the choice is up to you.)
Especially if you rent a large car, you may experience inconvenience in using the hotel parking lot. The hotel provides two main parking lots: a mechanical parking lot and an underground parking lot. As you may know, the mechanical parking lot cannot be used by vehicles that exceed a certain size or weigh a lot. And you can use the mechanical parking lot yourself. There are no parking attendants. The underground parking lot is a single-lane passage, so vehicles entering and exiting use the same passage, but it is a bit cramped, so be careful when both sides enter at the same time. And if the vehicle size is large, you need to be a little nervous when exiting to avoid scraping the side of the car against the entrance wall when turning to enter the passage. Fortunately, there is a free street parking lot across from the hotel entrance. It is always full, but if you are lucky, it is not a bad idea to park your car here. There are a lot of places to park, but I don't think there's a single place that's easy to park.
I wrote this in detail in the hope that it will serve as a reference for your use, but it is clear that it is an excellent value for money hotel in terms of price compared to its location and quality. I would consider reusing it if I was using it for a business trip rather than a solo trip or sightseeing, but I don't think I would consider reusing it for sightseeing with my family.
