Dongdaemun Hwashin Hostel

We stayed for a total of 6 nights, making 2 room reservations. The first 3 nights were a room with a window, the last 3 nights were another room without a window. But the hotel was very kind to allow us to sleep in the same room without having to change rooms. The inside of the hotel room is cute, clean, and all basic equipment is provided. The TV can be viewed well, can actually be viewed. Wifi is very good, very convenient to use. We stayed with our 2 daughters and felt very safe here. The friendly caretakers are always available to ask and greet and advise on what is necessary. They can also be contacted at any time. Importantly, the location of the hotel is very convenient to walk around. We walked to find something delicious to eat at Kwang Jang Market many times. Every tourist attraction that is recommended is close to our hotel, we all walk. The hotel is very close to the train station, exit number 7. I think if we count from the exit, the distance is probably only about 100 meters. It feels like a very small walk. The common area has all the equipment. Felt very worth the price paid. About 2-3 minutes walk from Exit 7 of Dongdaemun History and Culture Park Station. The location is very convenient for people who use Platform 5. It takes about 15 to 20 minutes to walk to the night shopping area around Dongdaemun, but it is within walking distance. Anyway, the owner was very kind. As soon as we arrived, they carried our luggage for us and gave us a lecture on how to use the keys. Since it was raining, she lent me an umbrella, and she greeted me every time I went out, which made me feel very safe even though I was a single woman. The room was very clean and came with an ondol so it was warm even without air conditioning. The bathroom had a shower curtain between it and the toilet, so it was comfortable and the toilet bowl didn't get drenched. The water pressure of the shower is also ◎ I would like to use it again when staying in Dongdaemun.

We chose based on price and area. Very convenient location, very close to the metro. The area is also very nice. I liked that the hotel itself is located in a quiet place and not on a big street. The staff is very nice. He helped lift our suitcases to the 3rd floor, removed the film and even wiped the suitcases with a towel from the rain. Room cleaning is excellent. Very detailed and neat. Our room was small but cozy. Heated floors, air conditioning, refrigerator, hair dryer. On the ground floor there is a shared kitchen, with water, cutlery, washing machine and microwave. The room has a good TV on which you can watch YouTube in your native language. The aesthetic part of the hotel is also excellent. Very nice rooms in delicate colors, decent view from the window. I highly recommend this hotel. Price and quality are fully consistent.

The man at the reception who seems to be the owner speaks simple Japanese!! He was very kind and carried my suitcase for me! He is at the reception until 11pm, so you can call him even late at night if you need anything! Bed making is also not popular, so I think this price is fine for a good location in Dongdaemun! However, there are no bath towels, but there are a few towels the size of a muffler towel! Apparently you can get one if you ask (according to other reviews), so I don't think it's a problem. I chose a room with no view, but I didn't have any problems. The refrigerator was so powerful that my plastic bottles froze to the point of exploding, so be careful lol It was very close to Line 5, so it was good. I will use it again!

The landlord was very friendly. We went there early in the morning to put down our luggage. When we returned in the evening, he handed us the key and put our luggage in the room for us. When we left, he took the initiative to help us carry our luggage downstairs. The environment was very clean and the room location was adequate. Opening two large suitcases, it is worth recommending

When I inquired about the written statement that said minors could not stay, they told me that I could stay as long as I had a consent form. Even though I noticed it late, they responded very well. The owner was friendly and helped carry our luggage up the stairs to our room. They also made sure that the room wasn't cold in the morning. The water pressure was strong and the wind pressure of the dryer was strong as well. I couldn't buy a conversion plug, but I'm glad I could get a Japanese plug. You can use as many towels as you like. There is no toothbrush. The room was not small and there was enough space to spread out two suitcases. The toilet was a flushable type so I felt safe. I thought it would be cold, but it was actually hot. I want to use it again next time!

It was my first time using it. It was very good. The room is also clean. The bedding is also clean. The bed may be a little narrow, but the mattress was good and I slept soundly. There was no bath towel, so I only had 2 face towels, but it was enough. The owner spoke Japanese and English, so I didn't have to worry about not being able to speak Korean. I was able to sleep peacefully at night without worrying about other guests. It was nice to have a kitchenette with hot water and a microwave. I think this hotel is worth the cost.
