Hotel Boutique 9

I was very satisfied with Hotel Boutique 9 during my trip to Seoul. The hotel's location is excellent, right outside Exit 4 of Sinseol-dong subway station. The room was also very spacious and comfortable. Being on both Line 1 and Line 2 of the Sinseol-dong subway makes it convenient to go anywhere; for example, it's just 4 stops direct on Line 2 to Seongsu-dong, a trendy hotspot in Korea. The grilled fish restaurant next to the hotel, run by a kind old lady, was delicious and very affordable. I was especially impressed with the warm and thoughtful service from the Korean lady at the front desk who spoke Chinese – I'm giving her a 5-star review! She's welcome to visit Shanghai for a weekend trip if she has time.

The room was much larger than the ones I've stayed in in Dongdaemun before. It had a desk and a mini-fridge, and the bathroom had a bathtub and a separate wet/dry area for the shower. There were bath towels, tissues, and toilet paper in the room. The only difference from domestic hotels was the lack of toothbrushes and toothpaste. We brought a lot of facial tissues with us and ended up having some left over. The fridge came stocked with complimentary mineral water and drinks, which we didn't notice at first – a nice bonus! As for the location, there's a bus stop and a subway station about 200 meters from the entrance. While there aren't as many dining options as Dongdaemun, it's a quiet and clean area. Do note that this hotel doesn't have a laundry room, but there's a 24-hour one nearby. The front desk has a scale, which is great for preventing overweight luggage – it was a huge help!

The location of this hotel was a huge plus – right in the city center with a subway station just downstairs, making getting around incredibly convenient. The room was brand new with modern facilities. The front desk staff spoke Chinese, so communication was a breeze, and the service was very attentive. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay.

Facilities: Comprehensive Cleanliness: Good Ambiency: Comfortable Service: Excellent! The young ladies are beautiful and have a great attitude, as do the young men. There was also an older gentleman who thoughtfully provided extra blankets when my mom felt cold, which made our trip so much more enjoyable and brought us a lot of happiness.
