Travelodge Myeongdong City Hall

Hotel was clean and close to everything like shopping, restaurants, transport and attractions

Location was good and easily accessible by train or walking. Staffs spoke good english too. Only setback is that they don't provide bottled water. You will have to go to the lift lobby water dispenser to get water.

Location - approx 5-10mins walk to myeongdong shopping district/myeongdong subway station. 2-3 mins walking to City Hall subway station exit 7. There are two 7-11 convenience stores are just opposite the hotel. A lot restaurant nearby which is walking distance. Breakfast- buffet style but not much variety nor impressive, we stayed for 3 days and menu is about the same for 3 days. Basically they provide foods like boiled egg, scrambled eggs, fried rice, dumpling, bread. It will be good if they can improve the breakfast varieties. Amenities- no oral kits provided. They only have one washer and one dryer in this property. Be prepared for long queues if u were going to do laundry at night. This can be quite disappointing when you have to wait for so long to get your laundry done. Staff - they are able to converse well in English, friendly and you can ask for daily room make up as well. Overall - they do not allow traveller to extend check out timing, else you will be charge 11,000KRW per hour after 12pm. Nevertheless still recommended for those planning to stay in myeongdong area at affordable price.

Overall space is ok. Need to bring your own bath essentials.

Location is great near City Hall train station. Walking distance to Namdaemun and Myeongdong. Lots of food choices and convenience stores within the vicinity. Room is clean and bed was comfortable to sleep on. Standard room does come with a bathtub too. Only setback is that the WiFi connection is very weak and gets easily cut off.

Breakfast is poor. Location is excellent. There was a strange smell in room. Not good

The service was good, the staff was proficient in english but I did not like their mattress, it’s quite old and not fully functional anymore, which caused me pain on my back.

Room was beautiful & luxury Very clean and pleasant Stylish Oh my god! I really loved to stay here 1st floor cafe was really social Room was very quiet. Really great location and only 5min. to walk to myungdong This is a really must stay hotel if you have a chance

Location is quite good that you can walk to the closest train and bus station not over 5 mins. Bottled of water aren’t provided in the room but hotel has water purifier for customer to fill up in fron of elevator.
