I stayed here for a night out in Seoul with a close friends from high school, and his wife meeting up in Asia. As always, when staying at the Grand Hyatt, you end up not having a “night out” but rather a “night in” because the amenities at the hotel are spectacular. The live band in the lobby bar, the pool turned into the Girbaud ice skating rink, amazingly cooked steakhouse, the indoor pool, etc etc. We had a great night, and once again, when staying at any Grand Hyatt, you never know who you’ll run into. On this occasion, we had run into solo artist/actor Mr Henry Lau, also from Super Junior, and was he was not only kind enough to take a quick photo with my friend’s wife, but I messed up the photo—and after learning I had bumbled the photo during her opportunity to meet one of her k-pop idols—was willing to take another entire series of photos.
The staff ended up helping me with a medical emergency in the middle of the night and stayed very calm during the entire process. Which I will also report to the company directly.
When traveling to Korea—Seoul, Jeju, etc. and anywhere abroad I often stay at the Grand Hyatt in the King Corner Suite. Such a beautiful room, but on this occasion it was just a normal King River view on 9F. A bit small for 3 people, but they made a sofa bed for me while I gave the couple the bed since I only grabbed the room for us (me) for a few hours before I head back to Wuhan—allowing my friends to enjoy the hotel to themselves after I departed. Easy checkout process for them. It was very nice.
Will definitely be back.

This hotel is good quality for the price I paid. The double bedrooms are up to a good standard and the bathrooms are modern and spacious. I did not sample the breakfast.
However, the only issue is that this hotel has one working lift. They need to fix the other lift because waiting for the lift can take time.
Great location and I would stay here again!

Construction next door to hotel now partially blocking view Namsan tower and many shops inside closed down which is sad to see, however the hotel staff is super friendly and polite. Rooms are ok with some nice details/ amenities but bathroom design is awkward, tight toilet space with door almost hitting toilet as you enter, and no privacy when using the toilet or shower (as it is partially open to the room and you can hear everything). Cleaning crew very attentive to detail.

The property is close to the subway station, making travel very convenient. It's also centrally located, making it especially convenient for sightseeing! Located right on the main street, it's easy to find restaurants and attractions.
From the entrance, you can see the Namsan Tower behind. The atmosphere is wonderful, giving you a sense of local charm. The room is also warm and comfortable.
With four large beds, it's perfectly suitable for friends to stay with, and we slept very comfortably.
There's also a travel guide in the room, which is very convenient for reference.
The host is very warm and friendly, making us feel very warm. Thank you so much!
This time I came with friends, and next time I'd like to stay with my family.
I will definitely book this property again next year! 🌟

We stayed here for two days in a row, and one of the days was Friday, so we just made do with the price. It was really small, and it was a little difficult for two people to turn around. It was even harder to turn around with a 28-inch suitcase after opening it. We could hear noise, and there was no elevator. On the first day, we followed the navigation after getting off from Noksapyeong subway station but couldn't find it, so we walked around for half an hour before we found it. On the second day, we walked out of Itaewon subway station, had dinner, and then walked back for about ten minutes, which was not bad. But when we checked out on the last day, we found that it was only a few minutes' walk from the intersection on the other side of the road to Noksapyeong subway station. It was really funny. We walked a lot of ways with a big suitcase up the hill.

Service doesn’t disappoint. Concierge was a friendly man maybe 50s and was super helpful! There was a situation where a drunk couple made me feel uncomfortable and the concierge offered to take me to my room so that I would feel safe!

Very close to Itaewon station. I arrived late (around 12am) so they left my key in the locker. Towels are provided. The room has a window but it’s next to one bed and at the end, when the bed is closed with the curtains, there’s no natural sunlight in the room. Overall it’s recommended.

The walk from the bus station to the hostel is like climbing a mountain, I hate that I need to take off my shoes every time ,but that understandable bc it’s their culture .but I don’t understand why do I need to keep my bag in the luggage store ,bc it’s big and there is no place in the room . that was really hard for me I need to go down every time to take my clothes downstairs where my bag is at also there is no bed sheet

I thought it would be great considering the price plus I've stayed there before in mainland China. But I was a little disappointed. Although the facilities are maintained, you can tell they are old. Especially the shower water is sometimes hot and sometimes cold... I was a little dumbfounded how could there be such a problem. For breakfast, if you are staying for several days, I suggest you don't buy it every day because there are only four sets to choose from. But they are very exquisite~ and delicious. The overall service is great, nothing to complain about. Especially the front desk lady is super good. She helped me call a taxi. I needed to change the address temporarily and she ran out to confirm with the driver. It's great. The attitude is also very good. There are people to help with luggage when getting on and off the car👍🏻👍🏻

I extended my stay for another night, and it was still a fantastic experience! This time I had a lower bunk. I highly recommend staying for at least two nights, as it's a great opportunity to meet new people and really immerse yourself in Itaewon's culture. The staff are also very enthusiastic and helpful with their recommendations.

GGuest UserIt is very close to Itaewon subway station. The surrounding area is quite prosperous and there are many people singing and dancing.
The sign is clear and easy to find, the lobby is warm and there is a shared kitchen. To enter the room, you need to go out from the back door of the hallway, walk up an open-air staircase (you will get wet on rainy days), the capsule room is on the right, and the family room is on the left hand side.
The men's and women's room labels are clearly written on the room doors. There are slippers and towels in the cabinet outside the room. Please change into slippers before entering the room.
There is enough space for bags in the berths, the sockets are of national standards (praised by Chinese travelers, no international adapter required), the bathroom is inside the room, with a shared sink, two toilets and two showers, and the environment is quite clean.
The price is a bit expensive on weekends, but ok on weekdays.

SSpider WatcherI stayed at the Quirky Inn last weekend, and while the room was cozy and the staff super friendly, I couldn't help but notice a platypus lounging under the bed! The front desk worker was super sweet and spoke perfect english. Able to accommodate a 24 hour check in which is convenient. Walking distance to food, metro, and so much more. Highly suggest!

AAnonymous UserThis hotel is conveniently located in Itaewon near the subway station. It is smaller than it appeared, but it had all the amenities needed, plus some toiletries. There was a slight smell, slightly stuffy, and like maybe someone was covering up cigarette smoke. That was really the only downside. The room had WiFi and Netflix on the TV. I said “friends” in the guest option because I wouldn’t recommend this to families. It had more of a friends for the night vibe.
