The room was a bit smaller than I expected, but it was very clean. My favorite part was the small patio and the checkered gate at the entrance, which gave it a lovely old Shanghai charm. The service was thoughtful; on the day I checked out, the cleaning lady arrived early but waited outside without disturbing me until I left. I only noticed her as I was heading out, and she was very patient.

The hygiene is clean and tidy, and the facilities are very comprehensive. Highly recommended.

This was an absolutely fantastic stay! We made a last-minute decision to switch to this hotel from another one in Shanghai. Honestly, we didn't have high expectations, given Shanghai's prices, especially with the ***** New Year surge. **Facilities:** Clean and hygienic, with all the necessary disposables. **Environment:** It's located in a residential area, so it's quiet and peaceful 😌. Step outside and you're on a beautiful Shanghai street, which looks especially lovely at dusk – very 'chill' vibes. **Service:** The highlight was definitely the exceptional service. I caught a cold while in Shanghai, and after contacting the host, they immediately brought over so many things without a word! I'm so grateful 🙏. We were a party of three, and the previous hotel only ever provided two bottles of water... I still don't understand why. I feel this is the best guesthouse we've stayed at for the price, traveling all the way from Shenzhen to Hangzhou to Shanghai.

A group of us friends chose this guesthouse in Huangpu District for our gathering. The environment was great, exceeding my expectations. It had everything we needed: a microwave, pots and pans, an oven, a washing machine, a refrigerator, air conditioning, a sofa, a TV... The guesthouse had 3 floors, 3 beds, and 2 bathrooms, and was clean and tidy. It's an excellent choice for a friends' get-together. The best part? Staying on a non-weekend night, this 3-story old house in Huangpu District, accommodating 6 people, was only 595 yuan per night. Talk about great value for money!

The room was clean and tidy, with complete facilities. The surrounding amenities were also excellent, especially a Yunnan rice noodle restaurant that's open late – highly recommend trying it! The room lighting was bright, and the hot air conditioning was powerful. Customer service was responsive; they asked about my check-in time and even turned on the lights and air conditioning in advance. For Shanghai, this place offers great value for money. There are many room types available, and you can make a note in advance if you want a quiet room or one closer to your destination.

Quiet yet convenient, this place is well-located. The room is thoughtfully decorated and comes with all the necessary home appliances. After staying in large hotels, it's a refreshing experience to occasionally stay in a guesthouse like this, a standalone property in the old town area.

The host was very prompt in solving issues. The small apartment was well-equipped and met all our needs. The room was clean and comfortable, and it's close to many attractions. There are plenty of good restaurants nearby, and it only takes about 30 minutes by subway to Nanjing Road.

The room was great, very clean, and the service was warm and welcoming. When I checked out, I accidentally left my glasses in the room. The customer service proactively asked us about it and even helped us ship them back, which I really appreciate. I'll definitely choose this place again for my next trip.

This old house is in a great, easy-to-find location, making it very convenient for getting around. It also has a lovely small courtyard, which adds to the nice ambiance. The keyless entry system was very easy to use. I hope I can book here again on my next business trip.
