If you are looking for a getaway to spend the weekend with your family, then this is one of the places in Shanghai. The hotel staff are very patient and helpful. You can enter the oriental land freely from the opposite gate of the resort and have a good walk around the beautiful park with many sculptures and bridges. The weekend we spent during mid-autumn. Surprisingly it was less crowded. I plan to visit this place sometime soon. 😎👍🏻

Good rooms with good location nearby the destination. Relatively good price.

Service was great. If you don’t speak Chinese, you will need a translator app to communicate with the staff. Room was nice and clean and the views were lovely. Cleaning staff was really friendly and helpful.

We booked a double room online and called to ask if we could get a king-size bed. When we got there, they said they'd upgraded us to a king-size bed. And then... there was only a dark window behind the sofa. No other windows in the entire room? And that's an upgrade? The soundproofing was also terrible. Every person coming in and out of the building was disturbed. It was a real bummer for me to vacation here. I'll never come back again.

The service is super bad. Before I checked out, there were two aunties chatting loudly in the room, throwing dirty sheets and quilts on the customers' clean clothes, shaking the whole room into dust. It's super bad.

The hotel is in a good location, not far from Zhujiajiao Ancient Town, with beautiful environment, just like living in a park. The peacocks are very cute. The hotel has a car to take you to the subway station when you go home, which is great. The breakfast is also good. I will come here often to get together with friends in the future.

The service was slightly better than the old state-owned restaurants, but limited, practically nonexistent. That's fine, but for a 1,000 yuan room, the bathroom didn't have a separate shower, only a tiny bathtub. If an adult stood in the tub, the showerhead on the wall would only reach their chest or even waist, making showering a real pain. And because the tub was so small and unprotected, water ended up all over the floor after a shower. The restaurant was also hilarious. Halfway through my meal, the waiter came over to ask for the bill... He said their rule here is that you have to pay after the food is served... Was he afraid I'd run away without paying? Overall, this is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in for 800 yuan or more, bar none.
