The hotel has a wonderful Nordic style, and the staff were incredibly warm and attentive. The teppanyaki set meal included in our package was exquisite and delicious. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices. Our room was very spacious and comfortably furnished. We were extremely satisfied with our stay.

Nestled within the Yaoxue Ice and Snow World, this hotel's Nordic log cabin design is simply enchanting. The dark wood furniture, fireplace decor, and fur accents instantly transport you to an Alpine resort town. The ski-in/ski-out experience is a dream for ski enthusiasts, and the ski concierge offers professional equipment rental and management, making it incredibly convenient without having to lug your gear around. The floor-to-ceiling windows in the rooms offer stunning views of the snowy slopes; imagine waking up, drawing the curtains, and being greeted by a beautiful winter wonderland. Modern amenities like a 55-inch smart TV and a capsule coffee machine are all readily available. The highlight was the Snow Domain Teppanyaki on the 18th floor – the dry-aged beef cooked to order was a delightful surprise. This is definitely the top choice for a family ski vacation!

My stay was very enjoyable. The hotel's location is convenient, and the surrounding amenities are excellent. The room was cozy and comfortable, and the soundproofing was good. All the staff were warm and friendly, with great service, especially the guest relations team. They were very thoughtful, responded to requests promptly, and always followed up.

I kept seeing recommendations for the Grand Mercure when heading to Yaoxue, so my friend and I decided to check it out. First, let's talk about the location – it's fairly convenient. You can take Line 16 to Lingang Avenue Exit 2, and it's about a 10-minute walk from there. Now, onto cleanliness: the bedding was decent and comfortable, but there was a rather unpleasant sewer smell coming from the bathroom, which I really disliked. Finally, I have to address what they advertise as the hotel's highlights: the ski-in/ski-out floor on the 16th floor and the executive lounge benefits on the 17th. The ski-in/ski-out access is indeed convenient, but their claim of having 'independent, exclusive changing rooms' in their promotions is highly misleading. There were only two changing rooms available, which are definitely not exclusive. When we asked a staff member about this, the response was, 'The promotion might have been a bit exaggerated,' to which we could only chuckle. As for the executive lounge benefits on the 17th floor, they were incredibly meager. Although there was a coffee machine, there wasn't enough milk, and the coffee dispensed was less than half a cup. The hot water ran out, and no one replenished it. The 'happy hour' was also a one-time affair; they didn't restock food according to the guest flow within the designated time, which really didn't reflect any 'executive lounge benefits.' Overall, besides the convenient ski access, there's really nothing else noteworthy.

The hotel facilities are very new, and it's super convenient for skiing. Our package included executive lounge access, and the evening happy hour was great for a light snack. I'd suggest they offer some hot main courses like fried rice or noodles during happy hour; guests who've been skiing all day would really appreciate a warm, simple meal. Breakfast deserves a special mention – there's a wide variety, including lots of made-to-order options. My favorite was the xiaolongbao.

This hotel, despite being a 'parent-child' hotel (with so many kids expected), is far from child-friendly. It was the worst hotel experience during our entire Drip Lake vacation: 1. All the toiletries are fixed to the wall and placed so high that children can't reach them at all. 2. The sink is also too high for kids to reach. 3. The phone was constantly unanswered. It took five or six calls just to get through once. 4. The breakfast was quite rich and delicious, but as soon as we started eating, a staff member came to clear empty plates – which is fine. However, another auntie said she would do it and directly placed a stack of used plates in front of me, right on top of my chopsticks and unused napkin! Are your staff overly enthusiastic, or are you just rushing guests out? I had good food on my plate that I hadn't even started eating yet, and I specifically told the server not to clear it, but it was gone after I left for just two minutes! 5. I called customer service to ask if the pool had towels and was told no, I needed to bring my own. So we lugged all our bags and the kids to the gym and pool first thing in the morning, only to be given such a small locker when there were so many large ones available! Crucially, when I opened it, not only were there towels inside, but also a single pair of pink women's slippers that my grown-man feet couldn't even fit into! 6. I casually asked the gym front desk what floor breakfast was on, and they didn't even know, telling me to go ask the front desk on the first floor! 7. The staff were very impolite. Several times when I called to ask for information, twice after I said 'goodbye,' the other person didn't say goodbye and just hung up! One of those times was the gym front desk staff! 8. Before checking in, I called to inform them we had children and was told they could provide children's toiletries and that the room would be ready for check-in. But when we got to the room, there were none, and we had to request them again! 9. The navigation was also inaccurate. Gaode Maps always led us to a dead end instead of the parking lot. I had to download Baidu Maps on the spot to find it. The signage was very unclear, and the security guards were incredibly unprofessional. One even specifically walked from the driver's side to the passenger's side to give directions! We practically had to shout to hear each other! 10. The self-service parking reservation system was a mess. Even though the reservation was successful (like the entertainment reservation, the front desk gave a QR code), exiting the parking lot still failed. The security guard insisted I drive around and try again. It took nearly ten minutes of hassle to get out (including moving the car so they could re-process it, and then re-queuing)! 11. For such a large hotel, the pool is tiny, and the gym is also very small. We even encountered non-guests sneaking in to use the gym! The changing rooms also don't lead directly to the pool! 12. The shower stall leaks water easily to the outside (see picture). It was truly disappointing. This is the first time I've written so much, I was really upset. It's a shame because they could do so much better, and I hope they improve, especially since it's genuinely convenient and close to the ski resort!

As a newly opened hotel, the hardware and room environment are quite good, but the accompanying services are severely lacking. It took several attempts and a lot of hassle to get an extra duvet. For two separate bookings of suites at this price point, we only received welcome fruit for one day. As a family-friendly hotel, there were no children's toiletries, which was quite surprising! The soundproofing in the room was also poor; the constant noise from upstairs and downstairs kept us from sleeping well at night. When asking for directions, many staff members didn't even know how to get to the theme park. The most critical issue was the broken glass in the slide area on the 16th floor! It wasn't cleaned up promptly, which is a huge safety hazard!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The service at the reception was very friendly and helpful, which made us feel welcome right away. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice and everything was fresh. We also had dinner at the teppanyaki restaurant, which was a great experience and absolutely delicious. In addition, the bar made excellent cocktails and the room was clean and very spacious, making our stay even more comfortable. Highly recommended, we will definitely come back!
