Shanghai Yushe Impression Hotel (Yu Garden Bund Branch)

Travellers from singapore. The hotel was spectacular. Clean, comfortable and definitely a very lovely modern industrialistic vibe. All the staff from housekeeping, concierge and kitchen staff were very very friendly, providing insight to the location. Their hospitality was really a nice touch to their already nice rooms. Nothing much in the direct vicinity of the hotel but still walkable distance to yuyuan garden. The bund is also a 7-10 mins didi drive away. Very quiet location, which my partner and i prefer. Bonus points to the 2 cats that kept us looking forward to coming back to the hotel after a long day of shopping and visiting tourist sites 🤩

The spacious in the room was the draw factor for us when we booked our accommodation for our recent trip in Shanghai. Is a 10 mins walk from Yu Garden. Pretty easy to get DiDi to everywhere in Shanghai from our accommodation. The service staff from reception, house keeping to the auntie preparing our breakfast were friendly. Special praise to the reception staff as she will recommend places to eat, provide bottles of mineral waters upon request. On our day of arrival, they even helped to clean a room & was available before 9.30am as we arrived Shanghai early in the morning. Welcome cans of drinks & a fruits basket. Every night they will serve red bean soup. Didn’t realised our booking comes with either western or Asian breakfast. Variety of breakfast maybe needs to improve. They even have 2 cats in the hotel

Had a wonderful stay for 9 nights. The hotel is more like a homestay. The room was spacious, clean, cozy and incredibly modern. I was impressed by the AI tool and smart toilet. We enjoy soaking in the bathtub after a long day walk. The laundry self-service is available. The staff was great, friendly, polite, attentive and interact with all guests. Thanks to the front desk staff to let us check-in early when the room is available. We also got a complimentary fruits and drinks after checking-in. You must try their homemade loving breakfast both oriental and western breakfast are delicious. We love the supper red bean soup (sometimes with little tangyuan). Thanks to Ah Yi The metro Line 9 (xiao nan meng) is about 10-15mins walk to Yushe hotel. Hotel is close to attractions like Yuyuan Garden, shanghai old street and shanghai chenghuan temple is about 10mins walk. Along the way, don’t miss the wall art paintings. The Bund is about 15mins walk. We went shopping at nanjinglu, head towards the bund direction. In the evening, we enjoy the illuminated skyline and the breeze. We try walking to Yuyuan Garden and shanghai old street. (Don’t miss the colourful lanterns and light-up) and back to the hotel. Recommendation to walk around the neighbourhood near YuShe hotel to experience their culture and local food. Overall, excellent value for money and would stay again.

Super nice hotel, the staff is super friendly and kind ＜3 they have breakfast and also have a soup for bedtime 🫶🏼 We also got gifted with Shanghai candies when we left. The bedroom has an industrial styled decoration and is very comfortable. I would definitely recommend.
