The hotel is right next to Yangpu Bridge. A big thank you to the lovely lady at the front desk, I believe her last name was Bai. She upgraded us to two high-floor rooms with fantastic, expansive views, including the famous 'three-piece suit' (Shanghai's iconic skyline), and the night view was also excellent. As for the noise some people mentioned, I personally found it quite acceptable. I'm a very light sleeper and usually need sleeping pills, but it was generally quiet from 12 AM to 7 AM, so there's no need to worry too much.
The cleaning staff were meticulous, and amenities were promptly restocked. Like other five-star hotels, they require you to pick up food delivery downstairs due to hygiene and safety concerns, but you don't have to leave the building, which is quite convenient. Check-out was also very fast, no waiting in line – you just drop your room card in a designated box or hand it to the front desk.
I overheard a lady complaining to her husband about the hotel's elevators – specifically, the floor indicator wasn't very clear, only a small part of it lit up (as shown in the red circle in the last picture). Also, many guests complained about the chaotic breakfast situation.
Other than that, there were no major issues. Thanks again to the hotel for the complimentary fruit and drinks (second to last picture), and I especially appreciate the manager personally delivering them to the room. A huge thank you again to all the staff members; working overtime during the New Year is truly demanding. Wishing you all a Happy Chinese New Year, peace, and good health.
