Shudefang Homestay (People's Square Branch)

First of all, the location is excellent You can get to famous spots easily and quickly There are lots of great restaurants and good shopping. It's a great value for a group of about five The administrators resolve issues instantly online, so it’s not inconvenient Recommend.

I expected it to be clean just from looking at the reviews but it was better than i thought, I've always preferred staying in places like this rather than a hotel. All amenities are given like toothbrush, toothpaste, thick just like hotel towels. Maybe only complain I have is no ironing board and the water pressure is a bit weak. Overall a very nice place to stay. The old building doesn't bother me at all because the surrounding is very nice. But maybe for a family of 4 adults it's a bit cramped, might be nicer if you're going with friends or small children. Besides that nothing else to complain, very nice service always there to answer questions and buy the things we needed such as more toilet paper and mineral water. Thanks for the hospitality! The pictures i gave are all near the building, very nice place to stay at. Would come here again if i was solo.

A convenient location, comfort, and a great view are guaranteed. But those aren't the main advantages—the best part is the service. The staff is always available and ready to help with any questions, from store delivery to calling an ambulance. We'd love to stay here again next time

Location is great, just beside people’s square and metro. Apartment is as of photos and with good view of the city, highly recommended!

Don't trust the notes left by everyone!!! When you are not satisfied with your stay, the hotel harasses you with a WeChat message to offer you a refund of 100/200 yuan to buy your silence, and that you rate 5 stars everywhere. The location is good but it's the only positive thing about this room. The state of the common area is deplorable, unhealthy... The mattresses were as hard as the floor. (We were told the day after our stay, to turn the mattress over so that it is softer as if we only had to do that to redo the entire room). The establishment asks us to empty the trash cans, while the entrance is one of them. In addition, there is no storage. In short, the photos speak for themselves.

Great stay in a quiet but very central area. The metro and Nanjing Road are both within walking distance, and walking back from the Bund at night was beautiful. There’s also a convenience store nearby that stays open late. The apartment was comfortable and well equipped, including a washing machine and detergent. The hosts were responsive and quickly fixed an issue we had with the shower. One small thing to note is that the water pressure can be a little weak and the temperature sometimes takes a moment to adjust, but overall we had a very good stay and would happily return.
