Hotel is well maintained with a very easy check in process over WeChat. It has a good location that is adjacent to Nanjing Road with many shops and places to dine in. There is also a nice view of the bund area which was really a plus point. Would come back to stay again!

Excellent value for money! For 500, I got a 180-degree unobstructed window view that feels like something you'd pay over 3000 for. I checked Dianping yesterday, and a couple's set meal at a high-rise restaurant with a 'pearl seat' view would easily cost over 2000.

Extremely satisfied! The service attitude was excellent, and the facilities, cleanliness, and environment were all top-notch. It's also super convenient to Nanjing Road, very close by. You can even see the Oriental Pearl Tower from the window. Plus, the price was really good!

Very near Nanjing Pedestrian Street with many malls and food options around. Continue walking down the street and you will reach the bund area. Host is very responsive.

The environment here is really good, kind of like a studio apartment, and it even has a washing machine and an induction cooktop. It's very close to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, just across one street. I would definitely choose this place again for my next trip. The photos were taken when I was leaving.

An Absolute Gem in the Heart of Shanghai!** My stay at this apartment was nothing short of perfect. The location is unbeatable—just a few steps from the famous, bustling Nanjing Pedestrian Street, putting all the energy of Shanghai right at your doorstep. Yet, the moment you enter the apartment, it feels like a peaceful, quality sanctuary. We loved our time here! The apartment is exactly as described—modern, clean, and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The owner has clearly invested in making this a comfortable home. All the appliances are top-notch Siemen brand, which we really appreciated. Having a combined washing machine and dryer, fridge and dishwasher was incredibly convenient. The best feature, without a doubt, the real highlight for us was the private terrace; having our morning coffee while overlooking 新世界 was unforgettable. This is a quality home through and through. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to Shanghai. Highly recommended

The hotel is conveniently located in the shopping area of Nanjing road and is within walking distance to People’s park MRT. It is situated in a commercial building on the 10th floor so it is not one building on its own. Location wise, it is superb with lots of eateries and shopping areas nearby. The room is very cosy and the bed is very comfortable allowing me to have good night sleep throughout my stay. The room also looks out to see the beautiful view of outer banks. I would definitely recommend this place for any budget traveler seeking affordable room rates within the bustling Nanjing street area.

Location: Few minutes walk to people square subway and nanjing pedestrian shopping street. Many restaurants and malls nearby. Near Huanghe food street, near new world mall which has a large food court, across from that is another mall with more food options. There is also a convenience store on first floor that sells drinks. Service: Similiar to an airbnb. No lobby but Hotel staff responds quickly and asks if you want room cleaned and toiletries resupplied. They are very easy to communicate with. They provide 2 packs of disposable towels a day which are quite good. Amenities: Bed was comfortable and clean. Airconditioning works well. Washing machine can both wash and dry. Shower pressure and temperature was very good and washroom has advanced built in dehumidifier and exhaust features. Sink in washroom was too small, but kitchen sink was large and very useable. Large refridgerator provided. No kitchen utensils. Tv projector didn’t work well. Not enough places to hang clothes in washroom. Toilet is electronic but has no bidet. No smell of smoke anywhere except first floor. When checking in just directly message the hotel and ask what floor to go and ignore the three smoking security guards on the ground floor if you can’t speak chinese. Location on amaps is easily searchable as MSG hotel. Building looks a bit dated outside and unlike a hotel, but there are multiple luxury cars parked right at the main entrance and in the area, so the place is very quiet but not shady looking. Overall had a good experience and would definitely stay again.

The apartment is very cozy with fantastic city view. The location is very convenient, very close to People's square and Nanjing road. The host offered cleaning service and free water. We also used the washing machine. The only missed some cups and plates to cook meals, so we went to the restaurants and cafes - there are plenty of them around the house. To sum up, the apartment is highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at this homestay! The recipient was incredibly kind and helpful — even going the extra mile to help us collect a parcel before we arrived. Truly above and beyond! The room itself is beautiful and full of charm. The view from the property is absolutely stunning — a sweeping, picturesque scene that feels like something out of a postcard. It is a short walk to shopping district and metro station And from the room able to see Orential Tower. Highly recommended for travelers looking for a local, heartfelt experience!

Very glad to have chanced upon this property for my trip - the one-time use items were replenished daily. The location was splendid since it was within walking distance from Line 2 metro and the pedestrian street (7 min walk at max if you know how to cut through). And it’s within walking distance from the ever popular Lai Lai Xiao Long and Jia Jia Xiao Long. Both are a must try for everyone visiting! The service of the staff is beyond professional and helpful. They’d check in the timing of your arrival, provide you information in advance to ensure no screw ups and are readily available to resolve any issues encountered. It has been a breeze staying in this property and I immediately recommended this to my friends who are coming! Don’t be fooled by the unassuming outlook of the building. The interior and cleanliness of the unit is just as show in the images. Can’t wait to be back again!

What truly sets this hotel apart is the service. Responsive, attentive, and genuinely caring—the staff made us feel like we were in good hands throughout our stay. The location is excellent, and the overall experience more than makes up for any initial hesitation. Highly recommended for travelers who don’t mind the absence of a traditional front desk and appreciate great service and a central location—even if the building’s exterior doesn’t scream “boutique luxury” at first glance.
