This new hotel is perfect for a staycation, nestled in the tranquil Wutong area of Xinhua Road, offering a peaceful escape amidst the bustling city. From the public spaces to the rooms, every detail showcases exquisite design. The black, white, and grey color scheme paired with minimalist decor creates a wabi-sabi aesthetic that still feels warm and homely. What's even more delightful is that breakfast is served until 2 PM, with a rich selection and excellent quality! It happened to be Valentine's Day when I checked in, and the hotel thoughtfully prepared a delicious and delicate small cake as a welcome gift. I was extremely satisfied with my stay and highly recommend it to anyone looking to spend a weekend in Shanghai or wanting to deeply experience the charm of Shanghai's Wutong area.

The service was exceptionally good! They called me beforehand, and the welcome fruit and snacks were delicious. The hotel really paid attention to details; even the vanity table was thoughtfully designed and beautiful. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Shanghai!

Completely exceeded my expectations, this hotel is so cool! I'm already looking forward to my second visit. I originally thought a new hotel that had only been open for half a year might not be fully ready, but it was really impressive. Especially the breakfast being served until 2 PM – that was just fantastic!

I stayed at the Shangying CHAO in January, and it was absolutely worth it – the experience was fantastic! The room design really impressed me, blending cinematic art with cultural depth. The transportation was also quite convenient. The room's layout was well-designed, with film reel decorations in the hallway. The step-out balcony allowed me to enjoy fresh air with my coffee. The mattress was incredibly comfortable, and the Dyson hairdryer mounted on the wall was a nice touch. The decor was understated yet stylish, just right. The giant screen TV supported screen mirroring, and the Bluetooth speaker had good sound quality. There was even a smart, temperature-controlled toilet. Each room key card had a unique design, showing great attention to detail. The breakfast at the restaurant deserves high praise. It was semi-buffet style, offering a mix of Chinese and Western options, and clearly not an afterthought. The ham, pan-fried salmon, chicken wontons, and scallion oil noodles were all high quality. Since items were prepared individually, the quality was naturally better, and you didn't have to rush. The most thoughtful part was that breakfast was available until 2 PM! The hotel service was also very attentive. Overall, the experience was excellent!
