Shanghai Lujiazui Riverside Center IntercityHotel

I was so lucky to choose this hotel for my trip to Shanghai! I stayed at the IntercityHotel Shanghai Pudong New Area, and my room had a stunning river view. The hotel's location is excellent; I could walk to the Riverside Promenade. The room was clean and tidy, and the bed was very comfortable. The gym and self-service laundry facilities were a great plus for travelers, and the breakfast had a wide variety of options. The staff were friendly and attentive, and getting around by subway was convenient. It's perfect for exploring Lujiazui, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Shanghai.

The hotel's location is near the city center, but not too close, not too far. It's about a 15-minute walk to the subway station. A taxi ride to IFC or Oriental Pearl Tower takes around 20 minutes if there's no traffic. After checking in, I found out the hotel belongs to the Huazhu Group. The lobby is quite cramped, and the breakfast and lunch buffet area is very small, just enough to meet basic needs. I booked a river view room, but it wasn't a direct front-facing view. The room has tile flooring, so footsteps are quite loud. The bathroom has a glass door and glass partition, which isn't ideal for guests who value privacy or mothers traveling with young sons. The housekeeping service was excellent, definitely the highlight of the hotel. They were very generous with cleaning, replenishing amenities, and bottled water. The front desk staff were also quite proactive. Perhaps due to the hotel's positioning, it seems more suitable for solo travelers or business trips. For over 1,000 yuan a night, the rooms lack a bit of comfort and warmth.

The hotel's surroundings are peaceful, and the rooms are exceptionally quiet, ensuring excellent sleep quality. The cleanliness is impeccable, with everything spotless and tidy. All facilities are well-maintained and function perfectly, looking as good as new. The staff are warm, attentive, and respond promptly. Overall, the experience was fantastic, and I'd definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit.

Feeling pretty good, I'll definitely stay here again next time! The location is convenient, breakfast is plentiful, and the washing machine, dryer, and gym are all amenities I use frequently. I'd recommend it to anyone who likes those things. Just keep the room rates reasonable, haha!

This was my second stay in six months, and I even got the same room direction. The front desk lady was so thoughtful. It's peak season, so there were a lot of guests, and our room wasn't ready yet when we arrived a bit early, around 2 PM. We had a baby with us who needed a nap, so the front desk arranged a temporary room for the baby to rest in first. The cleaning auntie was also very considerate, putting extra bottles of water for mixing formula. The hotel is very quiet and the transportation is convenient. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time.

This hotel is a hidden gem! The location is fantastic – right across from the riverside promenade, perfect for my walks and my son's bike rides. The river view room was beautiful, and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

The hotel boasts excellent facilities and scenic views by the river, offering a very peaceful stay. It's within walking distance of attractions. The bedding is very comfortable, and the decor is modern and elegant. The floor-to-ceiling windows even offer a view of the sunrise. Service was also great, but the soundproofing in the bathroom needs improvement.
