Jinjiang Inn Select Hotel (Shanghai Train Station South Square) Reviews

The check in time is 2pm and we're unable to check in at around 4pm due to the room has not been cleaned. The frost desk PIC told us that the previous customer extends for few hours and they are short of time to clean the room. They requests us to put the baggage in the uncleaned room and go out for a walk first to allow them some time to clean the room. This was so unprosessional and they refuse to make partial refund. How cab they allow the previous customer to extend knowing the fact that there is next booking???? We have paid for the time and unable to rest and enjoy after a long flight!

The bedding and towels in the room were all brand new, odorless, and sparkling clean. I felt completely at ease during my stay, with no discomfort whatsoever. The room itself was spacious and well-equipped, making for a very comfortable experience.

I had a peaceful night's sleep; the room was incredibly quiet with no noise whatsoever. It was also spacious enough for the two of us, and we rested very well. We could even store our luggage after checking out. Thumbs up!

The room facilities were good, clean, and tidy. Breakfast was nice. It's very close to the train station and subway, making transportation convenient. The staff were very friendly. For a place in a big city like Shanghai, the price is affordable, offering great value for money.

The location is great but unfortunately there's no window! The overall service is pleasant, definitely a good place to stay!

Good location and somewhat clean. Room is decent size and bed is comfortable.

This is my 2nd hotel around Shanghai railway station, Location I feel is the easiest to navigate at affordable price. Room is fairly clean and I appreciate the quiet atmosphere as compared to my previous hotel. The main issue is that inside out of my room has a strong cigarette smell during my stay. If you can take cigarette smell I think this hotel is suitable in terms of pricing and location.

Everything OK except the room need to be upgraded. Location if very good with metro subway just few minutes walk and the Shanghai railway ststion just across the road.
