JI Hotel (Shanghai The Bund Jinling East Road)

Location of the hotel very strategic. Easy access to MRT and tourism spots. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. They are always ready to assist hotel guests. View from the hotel is The Bund area. Definitely will come back to stay again. Well done.

I can say this is the worst experience in a hotel. I never write reviews but figured this would help others. We stayed there for 3 nights. The room temperature was 27C degrees for the whole stay. While the outside temperature was around 16 degrees. First we tried with the air conditioning. It wasn’t working. We asked them if they could change us into a room with an exterior window so we could let air into the room. In a normal hotel this wouldn’t be a problem, as they specify air conditioning in the room amenities and it wasn’t working. They said we would have to pay the extra costs of an exterior window. We asked them if they could fix it, or we would need to change rooms. We we came back the second night, it was not fixed and they wouldn’t change us if we didn’t pay extra. We couldn’t sleep for 3 nights, the heat was unbearable. We kept getting cold showers. So summarizing, worst stay ever. The worst part was not even the air conditioning problem, it was the lack of customer service. We felt like they couldn’t care less.

Its a great stay for us. They have very nice staff during our stay here. It suitables for both family n business

Staff was helpful, and the breakfast, while menu didn’t change, was satisfactory. Location was conveniently located across a subway entrance, which was why I chose it. I also appreciated its laundry service
