This hotel was great! They even helped me sign for my packages. Plus, there's a delicious BBQ joint right across the street, so no worries about getting hungry at night ✌🏻✌🏻. The hotel provides six bottles of mineral water every day, which I really appreciated as it kept me feeling good and prevented me from getting sick in Shanghai. The decor is super stylish too, and they even have a full-length mirror. The only downside was the TV didn't have many channels unless you had a streaming subscription 🥹🥹. However, the water heater worked perfectly, and the toilet and shower were separate, which was super convenient. I could take a shower without disturbing anyone sleeping. A little secret tip for souvenirs: in one of my photos, you can see a place right inside the XX hotel entrance that sells snowflake cream super cheap! 🤭🤭🤭

Hotel was quite modern with decent amenities.  Only downside was that there was only 1 lift so you might have to wait a while and the lift can be smelly at times.

I book this hotel because some people review if arrived hotel in the morning can check in early and free of charge but when I arrive 12pm, the staff said can check in early but need to pay. Check in front area smelly

This Ji Hotel (Shanghai People's Square) always is my first priority to make reservation. The location is absolutely perfect which closed to subway entrance and Nanjing walking street. The staff are friendly and room is cleanliness.

Location is good, 5 mins walking distance to Nanjing East Road, surrounded by local eateries, room is comfortable and fairly clean. Amenities are limited, no fridge, no safe, and replenishment of water, tissue, tea, is inconsistent. The front desk is helpful and they will try their level best to assist even with language barrier. For those sensitive to sound and smoke the rooms are not sound proof, and even though we requested for non smoking room, cigarette smokes still gets into the room every now and then. During reservations, we tried calling the hotel and messaging through Trip.com IM but there was no reply. Overall I will give this hotel an 4 out of 5 rating.

The hotel's location is excellent, very convenient for transport, and close to all the attractions. The front desk staff were attentive and very welcoming. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Shanghai!
