Dears Hotel (Shanghai Jing'an)

A lovely stay at this hotel. I upgraded my room to the Panoramic view Penthouse and it was worth every penny. Luxurious stay and a comfy bed. I would 💯 recommend. The staff were lovely

It's nice hotel, good view . So close to Shanghai railway station and subway. Also a lot of restaurants and convenient store around there .

The room is super dusty and dark. Even I have requested to change another room, is just slightly better but still dusty. The room light is insufficient and very dim, very uncomfortable. The hotel look very old and wear off. The only plus point is very near to Shanghai Station.. Basically is very unpleasant and uncomfortable to stay in this hotel

We were delighted with the scenic view from our room. The room was very spacious, worth the price and loved the electric curtains the bed and sofa was comfy and the staff very friendly. There is only one small window that opens and since it's a west facing room, it did get a lot of sun which made the room warmer. I am not sure if the AC would be cool enough in summer or not. We just switched off the heating since it was winter. The room has all the amenities you need though I think the carpet could do with a deep clean and some marks on the wall would ideally be removed. Across the river is an amazing arts and gallery quarter with great food, as well as the 1000 trees complex. The train station is close but we caught taxi's everywhere. Breakfast at the hotel was ok but we preferred eating more local options like scallion pancakes from hole in the wall stores.
