The location of the hotel is convenient for accessing various tourist attractions via the underpass to the metro. However, the hotel facilities are quite outdated and in need of upgrades. The TV had blurry live channels, which detracted from our experience. Additionally, one of our room’s secure lock chains was stuck in the night before we get to sleep, preventing us from opening the door, and we had to call room service for assistance. This situation raised safety concerns, as it felt like the door could be easily compromised while attempting to open it partially with the lock engaged. Thanks to Oliver and Yuki who helped to arrange our rooms next to each other. 🙏

My wife and I stayed for one week at the beautiful and world-class Radisson Blu Hotel. We are extremely satisfied and pleased with our choice. We are certain that every time we travel to Shanghai, we will definitely stay at this hotel. We will recommend the Radisson Blu Hotel to all our friends who plan to visit Shanghai. Staff members at the hotel are very friendly, respectful, and professional. They do their best to ensure that guests have an enjoyable stay. November 26th was my wife’s birthday. We were out all day and upon returning to our room, we seen a beautiful and delicious small cute cake sitting on the table with a birthday greeting message on it. We believed that the cake was being sent by hotel to our room. We celebrated her birthday with that cake. Thanks to hotel for the sweet surprise. We also enjoyed the hotel’s breakfast every day, which was very diverse and delicious. One of the staff members, named Lidiia along with the rest of the restaurant team, made a great effort to ensure that the hotel guests enjoyed the wide variety of breakfast options.

The highlight of the hotel is definitely its perfect location with easy access to the metro and shopping malls. The hotel is older, and although the room appears clean, it didn’t give a very fresh or spotless feeling. Not exactly dirty, just not very well-maintained. Still a comfortable stay for the convenience.

Booked the family suite, huge room for the 4 of us with 2 separate bedrooms and toilets. Comes with a living room and small kitchen. Great service from the staff especially the housekeeping lady morning or day shift who took care of the room. Great location too with close proximity to the People Square metro and Nanjing Pedestrian Street, both of which just across a road. Convenient and comfortable stay. They also have free luggage storage via the concierge. Shopong malls are also nearby with one connected through the hotel. Will return here if travelling to Shanghai again.

Lovely hotel in a great location. Easy walking distance to shopping and sightseeing locations, especially the Bund and Nanjing Lu. Huge shopping mall close by. Metro is an easy walk, and drop off/pick up for airport transfers is convenient. Plenty of local cafes and restaurants nearby. The hotel itself is really nice. Clean, well appointed and meticulously clean. Special mention about the staff. So friendly and helpful. Really appreciated their ability to speak English, as our spoken Chinese wasn’t good. They helped us with so much information about local dining, shopping and sightseeing locations. We arrived very late at night to check in. The staff welcomed us and gave us a free upgrade. The room was beautiful. Very roomy, good facilities and one of the most comfortable beds we’ve slept in. We had the pleasure of dining in the revolving restaurant. Food and service were impeccable. The special chocolate globe dessert is a must have. Delicious beyond description. We stayed at the Radisson Blu for 4 nights and would happily have stayed longer. Would study there again without hesitation. Thank you for an enjoyable and memorable stay at your delightful hotel.

The room was great, breakfast was good, and the location was excellent. The staff were very courteous, especially Judy, who even lent us an umbrella when it rained. There's a sightseeing bus stop right across the street, and the hotel gave us complimentary tickets. It's also very close to the pedestrian street and you can walk to the Bund.

It was my first trip to China, and it was really nice. The location of the accommodation was so good, and the cleanliness and guidance were excellent.

Our stay at the hotel was absolutely outstanding a perfect combination of luxury, comfort, and truly personal service. The room was beautifully designed, spacious, and spotless, with every detail thoughtfully prepared to ensure complete comfort. Everything felt intentional from the soft bed and soothing lighting to the fragrance and elegant décor. It’s clear that the hotel takes great pride in creating an atmosphere that feels both premium and warm. The Executive Lounge was a true highlight. Calm, elegant, and filled with high-quality food and drinks throughout the day. Spending our evenings there, overlooking the stunning city skyline with a glass of wine or coffee, was an unforgettable experience. Breakfast was simply exceptional a rich selection of fresh, delicious dishes, beautifully presented and constantly replenished. From made-to-order eggs to fresh pastries, fruits, cheeses, and juices every item was top quality. The staff made sure each morning started in the best way possible. But what truly made our stay special was the human touch. We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to William and Judy, two incredible team members who went above and beyond for us. William, whom we met every evening, was always professional, kind, and genuinely caring. He made sure everything was perfect for us and always checked that we were comfortable and happy. His positive attitude and attentiveness made every encounter a pleasure. Judy, who greeted us every morning, was equally amazing warm, attentive, and full of energy. She personally ensured we had everything we needed and that our mornings started with a smile. Both William and Judy even shared their personal contact numbers with us, offering help at any time, which is rare and deeply appreciated. It was touching to see how much they cared about our well-being and enjoyment. We always looked forward to seeing Judy in the mornings and William in the evenings they truly made us feel at home. The hotel’s location is perfect central, convenient, and surrounded by the vibrant heart of Shanghai. We will definitely return and recommend Radisson Blu Shanghai New World to anyone looking for a luxurious, comfortable, and genuinely welcoming stay. 1. The front desk reception was excellent. I don't recall the name of the lady, but she was very enthusiastic and professional during check-in. 2. We had a minor issue, but the hotel staff responded quickly. Both the hotel manager and the housekeeping manager arrived promptly, showing great efficiency and problem-solving skills. 3. The hotel's location is fantastic; Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street is just downstairs, right after you cross the underpass. The scenery is beautiful, and transportation is super convenient. Thumbs up!👍

The hotel management is excellent. I arrived early at 11 AM to check in, not expecting a room to be ready so soon. However, the front desk lady, Hailie, proactively helped me find the quickest cleaned room available. The hotel also offers fantastic views. The next day, my flight was delayed, and I requested a late check-out from Hailie. She managed to get me a 3 PM check-out time. I'm truly grateful!

The hotel's location is excellent. There's a side entrance directly into the New World Mall, and the Madame Tussauds Wax Museum is right above it. From B1 of the New World Mall, you can access Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, which then leads directly to the Bund. It's great for visiting museums during the day and exploring the pedestrian street and the Bund at night. The room was clean and well-maintained, definitely on the upscale side, and I noticed a lot of foreigners staying there. I was so impressed with everything that I extended my stay for another night. My only regret is not taking any photos of the hotel.

I chose the Radisson specifically for its revolving restaurant. It's a high-quality, established hotel in a great location. Ordering takeout is super convenient, allowing me to try all sorts of local specialties. Riley's service was very attentive. Since I was traveling with a baby and needed an afternoon nap, they kindly granted me a late check-out.

We had an excellent stay — the location was unbeatable, right across from People’s Square and close to great restaurants and shops. Our room on the 37th floor had a truly spectacular view — easily the best we’ve had anywhere in the world. The staff went above and beyond, especially during the busy Golden Week. Jerry from the Concierge was incredibly helpful and resourceful, guiding us through every challenge with patience and local know-how. Tara was also wonderful, arranging a late checkout that made our departure much smoother. Overall, an outstanding experience with service and views to remember.

Took ages to get warm water. Ac in the room was not working properly. Cooled to max. Despite that, very polite employees. In the morning someone opened the door. No idea what that was about. Was still sleeping and did not like to be disturbed.
