Broadwaymansions Hotel Shanghai

I chose this unique hotel because I wanted to experience a piece of history, and I had a very satisfying stay! The hotel is right next to Waibaidu Bridge, offering picturesque views from the window. Unlike some hotels where windows only open a crack, these open wide, allowing for beautiful scenic photos. Every staff member I encountered during my stay was thoughtful and friendly. Whenever I requested something, it was delivered quickly, often with an extra item, which made me feel very cared for. The breakfast selection was extensive, and the various small breads were exceptionally good. I'd suggest replacing the condensed milk served with the peach bun with fresh cream for an even better taste. The hotel also partners with a travel photography service, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the charm of old Shanghai and capture unique memories during their stay. It's inevitable that the hotel facilities are dated, given its age, but from the overall decor and layout to the charmingly worn furniture and the excellent service, you can truly feel the unique historical charm and 'Haipai' (Shanghai style) character that time has bestowed upon this building. If you're looking for the convenience of modern technology, this isn't the place. But if you want to savor a nostalgic, retro, slow-paced lifestyle, this is an excellent choice.

Booked a family-friendly hotel, and the kids absolutely loved it! The hotel was very clean, and the service was excellent. The afternoon tea spot offered a fantastic view of the Wai Tao River, which was incredibly relaxing. The family room also had a great view. The package included a 'Shiguang Travel Photography' session, and both the makeup artist and photographer were amazing. They even braved the rain to shoot outdoor scenes for us, which was fantastic! The outfits they chose perfectly matched our personal style. The photo selection specialist was also wonderful and helped us pick out the best shots. Overall, our stay at the hotel was very comfortable. It was a great experience, and we'll definitely be back!

The service was excellent. Even though it was late on ***** New Year's Day, the staff actively offered us various assistance and hospitality. They not only upgraded our room but also proactively delivered our luggage to the room and helped us switch rooms. The hotel's location is superb; we could admire the Bund view and Pudong's nightscape right from our room – truly breathtaking and a feast for the eyes. The hotel has a rich sense of history, allowing us to relieve travel fatigue while experiencing its cultural ambiance. Although the building is a bit old and some facilities are lacking, being in such an environment, you can still feel the cultural heritage.

Very satisfied with my stay. The location is excellent, the room was comfortable, and the breakfast was quite good. The hotel's viewing platform offers a fantastic panoramic view of the riverbanks, showcasing both old and new, which is definitely worth experiencing.

Extremely satisfied with the room! It's located in the old Broadway Mansion, offering a delightful and perfectly angled view of the Huangpu River at night. The room was comfortable, and the service was excellent. I'm very happy with my stay and will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Shanghai.
