The Yangtze Boutique Shanghai

Great location. Fabulous boutique hotel with art deco features. King bed and pillows were most comfortable we experienxed after weeks travelling both Japan and China. Concierge assistance was excellent. Breakfast catered for all tastes and was worth every penny. Will definitely be back for a longer stay.

This is a beautiful boutique hotel that has the art deco charm on the interior and lovely balcony design on the exterior. The room size is huge. Even though mine was on level 3 and the view was an indoor view, it was still nice to have natural light stream in during day time. Bath tub is massive but on the high side for short people to climb in and out, also feels not appropriate for elderly who may not be so mobile to get in and out of the bath tub. Room is kept clean by a friendly service staff on level 3. Also concierge service is excellent as I have deliveries that are collected by them, and they helped to bring my suitcase(s) to the room during check in and to the lobby during check out. There is a gym in site which I did not use but looks well equipped. Location is excellent as close to shopping area and yet not noisy. Opposite is the Metro station exit number 14 to easily catch a metro to go around Shanghai. I enjoyed staying here for my 6 nights in Shanghai.
