Golden Tulip New Asia Hotel，The Bund Shanghai Reviews

I recently stayed at Golden Tulip Hotel The Bund, and I’m genuinely glad I chose this place. For me, this hotel is one of the best value-for-money stays near the Bund. Location-wise, it’s hard to beat. The hotel is just a short walk to the Bund, and the nearest metro station is close by, which made getting around Shanghai incredibly easy. I loved how convenient it was — whether I wanted to explore tourist spots, grab food, or just enjoy a night walk by the river, everything felt nearby. The room was clean, modern, and surprisingly spacious for the price. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom felt newly renovated, and overall the space had a nice, updated feel. It honestly exceeded my expectations in terms of comfort. Another thing I appreciated was the service. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Even with the occasional language barrier, they always tried their best to assist. For the price I paid and the area it’s in, I would say this hotel is absolutely worth it. If you’re looking for a place near the Bund that doesn’t break the bank but still gives you comfort, convenience, and a great base for exploring the city, Golden Tulip The Bund is a solid choice. I’d definitely stay here again.

A great hotel. We stayed here for 4 nights and they upgraded our room with a view. The concierge,the doorman and the cleaners all of them were so nice and always smiling. The room is big. Breakfast not too bad. But i found the location is not that close to Nanjing Rd.

Room are spacious and clean. Walking Distance To the bund and photo spot. Walkable to shopping district Nanjing Road (E). Across the street have a landmark plaza have plenty of restaurants. Highly recommend !

super, super and super ! never regret to stay in this hotel. location is super, surrounded with a lot restaurant and shops. View especially at night is fantastic. plus hotelnis kind enough to out us at 8th flr which can directly view the oriental pearl tv tower and is super beautiful at night. The hotel service is good as well. Was staying for 3 nights and is super enjoyable and unforgettable. Highly recommended.

If i come to Shanghai, i will stay here again. The location is very convenient, only 300m from the metro. The room is very clean. Non smoking room is really non smoking. No cigarette smell at all. The staff s are very nice and caring, esspecially Mr.doorman,he  always has smiling face. And the most important thing is the staffs can speak english. Impressive☺️

The lobby smell super nice!!!! I reach early morning, they allow me to keep lugage there, and im able to check in at 12pm. The cleaner lady than clean our room was kind and attentive. The doorman always helpfull and keep smiling. There is nearby halal restaurant is a plus for us. The location is great, walkable to the bund. We got room with nice view. For sure will book the same hotel if i come to shanghai again. Sharing some picture view from our room.

This is my 2nd time staying here, because I was very impressed with the location and the facilities. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Shanghai is my hometown, so I know my way around, to an extent, as I no longer live there. But for someone who is new to Shanghai, it’s still easy to navigate from the hotel to anywhere they may wish to go with 2 subway lines and countless buses at the hotel’s doorstep. It’s good value for money and definitely recommended. If you are a foodie who is into local cuisine and there are plenty to choose from too. For as little as 8RMB, you can have a typical Shanghai breakfast in one of the lane ways nearby.

Good for family, but it is difficult to communicate with staffs since they do not speak English. Nonetheless, they are willing to help and service guests.

It's quite close to the metro station and tourist attractions, but I got a room with a window facing the highway, the bus noise was quite loud when I needed to open the window, because there was only a heater in the room.

The comfort level was beyond my expectation honestly. The bed was soft but also supportive. I like the bathroom floor because it was not cold for skin to touch when in bath. Hotel provides a charging usb with 3 types of plugs. Situated at touristy spot so friendly for tourists. Only regret is that there’s no swimming pool. But overall I enjoyed the stay there.

The room is big. Each toilet has bidet. Location very near to see the bund at night.
