Novotel Shanghai Pudong by Accor（Free shuttle bus）

If you're going to Disneyland, you *have* to stay at this hotel! We originally booked a B&B near Disneyland because we had the early entry pass, and the owner provided rides both in the morning and at night. But B&Bs just aren't the same as hotels. After our Disney trip, we checked into this Novotel, a brand I've always loved. I've stayed at several Novotels in Suzhou before, near Jinji Lake and Taihu Lake. After a full day at Disneyland, I was completely wiped out, and the hotel thoughtfully arranged a late-night snack for us. The next day, we slept in and enjoyed a fantastic breakfast – my child and I had so much fun. After relaxing a bit, we headed to the 5th floor for a workout. The late 2 PM checkout time was perfect; we got all the rest we needed before heading back to Suzhou! I'll definitely be back!

This is the worst hotel near Disney I've ever stayed at. I stayed at another Novotel nearby which was excellent. I saw this Novotel was advertised as opening in 2023, so I expected it to be newer, but it was a huge disappointment. Everything from the lobby to the room and bathroom looked old. The amenity bottles in the bathroom were covered in grime. Later, I found online that people quarantined here in 2021, so how could it have opened in 2023? In the evening, I found the TV had no signal, no channels, and I couldn't cast anything to it. I could only watch platforms like Youku without a premium membership. However, I'll give two points for the service because an engineer spent over an hour trying to fix the TV. Even though it still didn't get a signal, at least I could cast, so I'll let that slide. Those two points are for that staff member. Then, when checking out, I wanted to store my luggage. The front desk didn't even ask how many bags I had, just gave me a number and told me to put them in the back myself. I asked if there was anyone in charge of luggage, and they said no, just put it yourself and pick it up yourself, but there's CCTV. The problem is, if someone accidentally takes the wrong luggage in a hurry, what's the point of CCTV? Doesn't that cause trouble? This is incredibly irresponsible; I've never encountered such an outrageous hotel. The hotel breakfast was decent, but it gets very crowded if you hit a tour group. The hotel seems to cater to Thai tour groups.

Fantastic! My stay at the Novotel Shanghai Pudong Kangqiao, booked through Trip.com, was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. The hotel's location is perfect for visiting Disneyland, with a super convenient free shuttle service that makes getting there quick and effortless – no need to worry about planning transportation, which is a huge time and energy saver. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive; check-in and check-out at the front desk were efficient, and any requests were promptly addressed, showing great attention to detail. The room itself was spacious and spotlessly clean, with soft and comfortable bedding that made for a truly relaxing stay. While the decor is a little dated, it's very well-maintained and didn't detract from the experience at all. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious Chinese and Western options, perfect for fueling up before a day of sightseeing. Overall, it offers excellent value for money, whether you're heading to Disneyland or Pudong Airport. Highly recommended!

The hotel's location is convenient, and the hygiene is acceptable. It's quiet, and the bedding is comfortable. Breakfast was mediocre; the wontons, fish tofu, and pastries weren't good, and the other food was just so-so. The service was very poor. The front desk staff were unprofessional, either writing down the wrong room number or forgetting to give out breakfast vouchers, and they were very slow. When calling to arrange airport pick-up, their tone wasn't very pleasant either.

The stay was excellent, with a clean and comfortable environment overall. The room was tidy and well-equipped, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Check-in was smooth and hassle-free. The location is also very convenient, making it suitable for both leisure and business trips. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family.
