The room was really spacious, perfect for traveling with a group of friends! The front desk staff were super friendly and quickly got our room ready for check-in. It's also conveniently located near a subway station, and getting to Disney only takes about twenty minutes! I'd definitely choose this Ji Hotel again next time I visit Shanghai Disney. Highly recommend!

Booked this for a concert. It's really close to the subway station, and getting to the Mercedes-Benz Arena takes only about half an hour by subway, which is super convenient for Shanghai. The front desk staff were also very welcoming. All Seasons Hotels always deliver peace of mind! I'll definitely choose this place again if I come for another concert.

I really don't want to leave a bad review, but it feels like I'm the only one suffering here.
On the first day, we arrived at the hotel around 10:30 AM. They assigned us a very awkwardly shaped, small room that didn't get much sun. (Yes, for a 'deluxe king room,' the room wasn't even square, the door was at an angle.) We immediately expressed our dissatisfaction. The front desk staff said that no other rooms were cleaned yet and we could switch after 2 PM. I said okay. After 2 PM, they showed me a room with a tatami mat. I said no, and we also pointed out that we had booked a deluxe king room. They told us these were the only two available rooms. I said then we would check out. You can't just give us any room. After I insisted repeatedly, they finally gave me a 'somewhat acceptable' but still not great room. I asked, "Can we keep this for today and I'll switch rooms tomorrow?" This is hands down the worst Ji Hotel I've ever stayed at! Absolutely shocking. First off, since I couldn't check in before midnight on the arrival night, I specifically called in the afternoon to inform them of my late-night arrival and asked them to hold the room. Despite informing them beforehand, I received a call at around 4:20 AM that night asking if I was still coming. When I didn't answer, they called again 10 minutes later at 4:30 AM. It's absolutely unacceptable to call a guest in the dead of night after prior arrangements have been made.
Secondly, while I was showering during the day and the water noise was quite loud, I vaguely heard knocking and noticed the main door being repeatedly shaken. I realized someone outside was persistently trying to open the door. Thankfully, I had engaged the security chain, or it would have been opened directly. When I called the front desk to ask what was happening, they claimed the housekeeper knocked, got no reply, and then tried to open the door. They apparently kept trying because they thought the door was faulty when it wouldn't open completely. Later, the housekeeping manager and the housekeeper came to apologize, but then astonishingly tried to justify their actions by saying they opened the door directly for the guest's safety. (Any decent hotel would surely not keep trying to force a door open if there's no response to knocking and a security chain is clearly engaged, right?)
And that's not all. The very next day, I was again in the room during the day. To specifically avoid any disturbance, I hung the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on the door. On check-out day, around 11 AM, the front desk called to urge me to check out, offering a late check-out only if I left a 5-star review. I told them that as a Huazhu member, I'm entitled to a late check-out until 2 PM. The front desk immediately made excuses, claiming my reservation came from a corporate travel platform, so they weren't aware I was a member. I wish I had known to insist on scanning my membership QR code via the app during check-in. The entirety of this experience was utterly horrendous!
