I recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a pleasant experience. The service was excellent—the staff were friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to ensure a comfortable stay. The location is also a major plus: it’s just a 10-minute walk to the subway station and about the same distance to Venice city, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the area. Additionally, there’s a mall nearby with a wide variety of restaurants, which was perfect for dining and shopping. However, I did notice that some of the lights in the room were not working, which was a bit inconvenient, especially in the evenings. It didn’t ruin my stay, but it’s something the hotel should address to improve the overall experience. **Pros:** - Excellent service - Great location (10 mins to subway and Venice city) - Close to a mall with many restaurants **Cons:** - Some lights in the room were not working Despite the minor issue with the lights, I would recommend this hotel for its fantastic service and prime location. With a little maintenance, it could easily be a 5-star experience!

The hotel is kind of neglected, but for the price it is as expected. Not clean corners, But the sheets and towels are clean so that is important and good. The soap smell was amazing, and the AC was good. We got a room that there were smokers before us there, we really couldn't get away the smell, even after opening the windows for the whole day. Also, there is only a one door that either close the bathroom or the toilet room. Oh and it's see though. So if there is a person there, you can see even though the door, and you can't use the toilet and the bathroom the same time. Because there is no door... so it's a no no for friends. The main minus was That the hotel is really far from the center. Taxi is about 65-70 Yuan for each way. For that money, better to take a hotel that is closer to the center of Shanghai, to the pearl Town.
