I'd give full marks to this hotel's facilities. The room was a pleasant surprise; the mattress was just the right firmness, like sinking into a cloud, guaranteeing a full night's sleep and relieving travel fatigue. The shower in the bathroom had a constant temperature, excellent water flow, instant hot water, and stable pressure. The vanity area was spacious with bright mirror lighting, making makeup and skincare routines very convenient. Plus, they provided a Dyson hairdryer and a De'Longhi kettle – attention to detail was top-notch. The service was incredibly friendly, easily ranking among the top three in Shanghai. Xuejian left a deep impression on us, proactively reminding us about parking and making things very convenient. We'll definitely choose Hualuxe again next time!

For a five-star hotel, the room amenities are really quite disappointing and deserve a thorough review! I stayed in room 304. The TV was small, which I could overlook, but the picture quality was terrible and the sound was awful. It couldn't even screen-share or offer any other smart features. The bathroom faucet was broken and hadn't been repaired, and the electrical outlets were long overdue for maintenance but nothing had been done. The hairdryer was a disaster; I was genuinely afraid of getting an electric shock because it smelled like something was burning. I don't expect a fancy brand, but it should at least be powerful or safe to use. The bathroom door made a very noticeable creaking sound when opening and closing, and the bathtub drain stopper was difficult to turn.
