Dr.SrinivasHere's a polished review you can post:
> I had a very pleasant stay at Hyatt Place Shanghai Hongqiao CBD. The room was spacious, clean, and well maintained, with a very comfortable bed. The staff were courteous, professional, and always willing to help. The breakfast offered a good variety of fresh and tasty options. The location is convenient, especially for travelers using Hongqiao Railway Station or Hongqiao Airport. The hotel also has excellent facilities, including a gym and indoor pool. Overall, it was a comfortable and relaxing stay, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to both business and leisure travelers. I look forward to staying here again.

This hotel felt like it opened before it was even finished. First off, the floors and walls were covered in what looked like Bolton carpet (if it was genuine, that would be very luxurious), but the wall carpet was peeling, exposing the wooden baseboards. The carpet in the elevator made strange noises when you stepped on it. Secondly, the fabric sofas in the lobby and the second-floor restaurant were heavily stained – stains that were impossible to miss. Thirdly, the concrete wall leading from the second-floor elevator to the restaurant was heavily mottled, like a construction site wall.
The breakfast selection wasn't extensive, and items were spread out very haphazardly with no clear flow. Cereal was served in traditional Chinese ceramic soup bowls. For the two days we stayed, the breakfast was exactly the same.
On our floor, the carpet just outside the elevator had an odd, stuffy smell. The room size was decent, but the layout was strange. At night, getting out of bed to go to the toilet meant navigating past the TV area where there was a coffee table – if you weren't careful, you could easily trip. The bathroom light was either completely off or blindingly bright, very harsh on the eyes.
There's another Jiahsuan hotel across from this one, but it has a different name and owner. Including the Hyatt right by the lake, there are three Hyatt properties here, but the amenities are lacking, and it gets quite desolate at night.
There's a cafe by the lake, and apparently, a Coca-Cola exhibition hall is planned for the future. It's not too far to walk to Celebration Square, which is nice for a stroll.
The hotel is relatively close to the Planetarium, about a 15-minute walk.

Guest UserThis stay exceeded my expectations, and I have to praise it! The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, making it easy to catch a taxi or explore the shopping areas. The front desk staff were gentle and enthusiastic, checking me in quickly and patiently answering all my questions. The room was spotless, and the bedding was soft and clean, making for a very comfortable sleep. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, hot water supply was stable, and the toiletries were of good quality. The soundproofing was effective; it was completely quiet at night. The hygiene details were well-maintained, and the facilities were complete and in excellent condition. This place offers incredible value for money. I will definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip and highly recommend it to everyone!

Hann Lin, TanHyatt Place Shanghai Tianshan Plaza enjoys a very strategic and convenient location, making it an excellent choice for both business and leisure travelers. The hotel is situated less than a 10-minute walk from the nearest train station, which makes getting around the city extremely easy. In addition, there is a large shopping mall directly opposite the hotel, offering plenty of dining, shopping, and entertainment options. With these amenities so close by, the hotel is within easy reach of almost everything a business traveler might need during their stay.
During my visit, my spouse and son accompanied me, and the room setup worked out very well for our small family. The sofa bed provided in the room made it comfortable enough to accommodate three people without feeling cramped. The room itself was spacious, well-organized, and maintained to a high standard of cleanliness, which made our stay even more pleasant.
Another highlight of the hotel is the excellent service from the staff. The housekeeping team was consistently friendly and attentive, ensuring the room was well maintained each day. The reception staff were also polite, welcoming, and professional, always ready to assist with any questions or requests. Overall, the combination of a great location, comfortable rooms, and attentive service made our stay at Hyatt Place Shanghai Tianshan Plaza a very enjoyable experience.
