Pricey but very well worth it. The setup here is one of its kind. Crowds leave around 8:30 so you have the convenience of better photo opportunities afterwards.

I really like the simple breakfast at Cliff Cottage. There are no fancy arrangements, just some local food that is down-to-earth. Sitting by the window, eating while looking out, the canyon layer by layer is right in front of you. Don't rush to eat and rush to the scenic spot, chew slowly and enjoy the quiet morning. The ingredients in the mountains have a bit of rustic and smoky flavor, and they are very comfortable to eat. Thank you Huan Huan, thank you Huan Huan housekeeper for carefully arranging the ordinary breakfast and making it a small ritual in the journey.

The location and service were wonderful. Our room had a spectacular view of the cliff. And breakfast at the cliff library had an amazing view. The city is a fun place to explore with several shows happening around that you just happen upon. Travel from the rail station to the hotel was easy to take a taxi. Special shout out to Huan Huan, happy housekeeper. She was great and sent us with a great gift

In the summer of Wangxian Valley, every light and shadow hides surprises. In the morning, the soft morning light passes through the leaves, in the afternoon, the tree shadows fall on the stone slabs, and at dusk, the setting sun colors the cliff house with warm gold. Take a camera with you and wander around, capturing different scenes of mountains, waterfalls, and hanging pavilions; every frame is full of the atmosphere of mountains and fields. Avoid the strong light of noon, and the best results are obtained in the morning and evening. Staying at Cliff Cottage, you can go out and take pictures right away. Thanks to housekeeper Huan Huan, who shared obscure photo spots to avoid crowds. Use the lens to freeze the beauty of the four seasons in the gorge, and keep the mountain image memory of this summer.

We had a wonderful stay at Wangxiangu Cliff Homestay / 望仙谷悬崖民宿. It is truly a special place in an incredibly beautiful valley, surrounded by atmospheric cliffside houses, mountains, streams, and magical evening lights. Staying here feels like being inside a fairytale. We stayed in a spacious, clean, and very comfortable room near the breakfast building. It was located in a quiet lane, so the nights were peaceful and calm, while breakfast and the main walking routes around the valley were still very easy to reach. The room had plenty of space for relaxing and storing luggage, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel made it easy to unwind after a busy day. We would especially like to sincerely thank our personal manager, Huanhuan housekeeper🥰 She was always available on WeChat, responded quickly and kindly to every question and request, and helped us understand how to get around the valley and use the hotel services. This kind of support is especially valuable for international guests, and thanks to Huanhuan, we felt comfortable, welcome, and well looked after throughout our stay. Thank you to the entire team for your warm hospitality, care, and unforgettable experience. We would happily recommend this hotel to anyone who wants not only a comfortable stay in Wangxiangu, but also a truly unique and memorable experience.

After nightfall, the ancient alleys of Wanshan Valley are lit up one by one, and the warm light spreads layer by layer along the hanging pavilions. The red lanterns swayed, and the light and shadow reflected on the water, creating a dreamlike atmosphere. Walking slowly along the ancient street, watching the fireworks of the shops, listening to the sound of the flowing water, and the evening breeze taking away the heat of the day. The ancient village under the night sky has a fairy-like atmosphere, and walking around it is very therapeutic. Thanks to housekeeper Huan Huan, thanks to housekeeper Huan Hwan's recommendation of the night tour route, I was immersed in the valley's colorful night scenery. I have pictures of the room from the inside and the outside it is so beautiful !

Lovely environment. Mycomfortable room was located in Yangxian village, just slightly outside the core scenic area, so it was quiet even as the core area operates till 12. There are many "villages" in the sprawling compound. Along the main side road (outside the scenic area), there are some designated pick-up/drop-off points for the hotel shuttle buggy. It was easy to get lost and be overwhelmed but my room butler Huan Huan was most helpful and very responsive throughout the stay, providing me with prompt advice to make informed decisions. Along the way, there were also staff who helped me with wayfinding. Hence, my stay was enjoyable.

It is a good choice to come to Wang Xian Valley to escape the heat in the city. The mountains and forests are dense, cooler than the city, but the sun is still hot at noon, not cool all day. During the day, walk along the boardwalk and take a look at the waterfall; if the sun is too strong, go back to the homestay and rest; don't force yourself to explore. The temperature difference between day and night in the mountains is obvious, and it will be cool at night, so you must bring a light jacket. There are many mosquitoes and insects, so mosquito-repellent products are essential. Some parts of the walkway are quite steep, so go at your own pace and don't force yourself to complete all the routes. The cliff guesthouse has a good view of the scenery. Thank you, housekeeper Huan Huan, Huan Huan reminded me to play within my limits and take precautions against heatstroke.

Seamless check-in experience. The front desk staff, 小薛, was efficient and friendly. She kindly upgraded my room so that I didn’t have to walk too far for breakfast, which I really appreciated. During check-out, another staff member, 小君, was also very helpful and assisted me in booking the bus back to the train station. Overall, I am very happy with the warm and attentive service provided by the hotel staff. The room was spacious and clean, and the TV was huge with plenty of channels to choose from. I had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay at this hotel and would be happy to stay here again.
