They provided us with an oxygen tank when I was suffering from altitude sickness and even gave us free souvenirs before we left.

This hotel is very good, the owner really helpful to bring luggage to your room. Minimalist deco and the room cleanliness satisfied. They also offer drop off at railway station for free. The location quite strategic nearby to Dukezong Ancient Town, by walking can reach in 10 mins. For muslim traveller, many halal restaurant nearby.

We booked two family rooms and were pleasantly surprised that they were assigned close to each other, which we appreciated. The rooms come with basic amenities such as disposable shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothbrushes, and towels. While the hotel provides fresh disposable towels daily, we are more accustomed to regular bath towels. We requested them and the staff promptly provided them without any issues, which we appreciated. Another plus point is the availability of a top-load washing machine and dryer. This was especially convenient for us as we had been traveling in Yunnan for many days and needed to do laundry. During check-out the owner provided transport to the train station, even early in the morning. This is really much appreciated. Cleanliness, however, could be improved. Upon check-in, most areas were clean except for the bathtub, where we noticed a layer of dust accumulated around the hard-to-reach rim. As a result, we chose not to use it. During our three-night stay, housekeeping seemed to focus only on the basics—emptying trash, replenishing toilet paper and tissues, and replacing disposable amenities. The floors were not vacuumed or mopped, and the wash basin and shower area were not cleaned during our stay, which was a little disappointing. The practicality of the bathroom layout was our biggest concern, especially for a family room. The bathtub is located openly in the room rather than inside the bathroom, which makes it less suitable for colder nights and challenging for families who value personal privacy. This setup might be more suitable during warmer months or for families who are comfortable with no privacy. Additionally, there was no bathmat provided for either the bathtub or the shower area. We ended up using disposable towels as bathmats. While soap was provided, there was no soap dish, so the soap had to be placed on the wash basin tabletop. Since the basin was not cleaned during housekeeping, soap residue and mess accumulated over time. The shower area also lacks hooks, which made it impossible to hang towels or clothes. We often had to call for help from other family members to pass towels or clothing. Another minor inconvenience was that the light switches for the toilet and shower are located near the beds rather than inside the bathroom. Lastly, for a family room accommodating 5–6 people, having only one small trash bin was not sufficient. We had to use extra plastic bags as makeshift bins. Overall, the hotel has some good features and friendly service, but improvements in cleanliness and bathroom practicality would greatly enhance the experience, especially for families.

Great hotel with clean and spacious room! Very new and good price! The best part is they have a mommy cat with 5 adorable kittens. The kittens are only one month old and we spent about one hour every night playing with them when they were awake! Highly recommended, it is worth it just to be able to play with the kittens! Come stay here soon before the kittys grow up!!

The hotel is newly built for about a year and everything is still new! Room is spacious, clean and equipped with smart electronics, where you can watch movie or music with big projector. Even toilet bowl has its own sensors to auto open and auto flush. A human designed room where everything js being considered, separated toilet and shower, 2 water basin. We were welcomed with hot milk. Highly recommended!

The hostess of the hotel was very kind and welcoming. She offered free water as well as free ginger tea to our friend who suffered from altitude sickness. The room was spacious and beds really comfortable. Overall, we recommend this hotel to make your ShangriLa visit more memorable.
