Let me preface this by saying I'm not a shill, but I simply *have* to give this place a perfect score. The service was incredibly warm and thoughtful, from the airport transfers to the afternoon tea and even a goodnight milk. While the room amenities aren't luxurious, they've thought of every little detail you could want, like disposable towels and even a foot bath tub. They were so considerate when I checked out, even giving me a bunch of souvenirs. The room itself was very clean. Aside from accidentally booking a twin room, the location is fantastic, right inside the ancient city scenic area, making it easy to order takeout. There are also plenty of photo studios nearby.

The room was spacious and clean. The hotel is located inside Dukezong Ancient City. The owner sent us the location and came to pick us up. We stayed for four nights, and every day we enjoyed afternoon tea and bedtime milk. They even helped us with our laundry daily. The breakfast selection was diverse and plentiful. The owner also arranged a car to take us to Baiji Temple and the high-speed train station. Overall, we had a very satisfying stay. Many thanks to the owner and their family.

This stay far exceeded my expectations, a five-star review is a must! From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable. Staff were already waiting at the drop-off point and promptly whisked our large luggage directly to our room via buggy. We didn't have to lift a finger the entire time, which was incredibly convenient. Every evening when we returned to the room, the hotel would deliver warm milk or yogurt along with fresh fruit right on time – a thoughtful touch that really showed their attention to detail. The breakfast spread was also incredibly rich and delicious, catering to various tastes. The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance to Dukezong Ancient Town and the world's largest prayer wheel, making sightseeing very convenient. What surprised me most was the wooden foot bath bucket and herbal sachets provided in the room; soaking my feet after a day of exploring instantly relieved all fatigue. Most importantly, the hotel's oxygen supply system was fantastic, ensuring my entire family had no issues with altitude sickness and everyone got a sound, restful night's sleep. I highly recommend this hotel to all friends visiting Shangri-La!

The room was incredibly spacious and comfortable. The hygiene was impeccable, and they even provided oxygen, which really helped with our altitude sickness. The location inside the old town was perfect, and the service was superb. We even received a parting gift when we checked out!

I booked two rooms this time, and our whole family was extremely satisfied. The owner and his wife greeted us with warm smiles, were polite and attentive, and very thoughtful. My takeout order was delivered to the wrong place, and the owner even helped me go find it. He called me "little sister" the whole time, even though I'm over forty... Their Tibetan-accented Mandarin is really interesting; you should come and hear it for yourselves. Before leaving, I went to the rooftop alone to take photos of the prayer wheels and the Giant Buddha Temple. This guesthouse is beautiful and well worth staying at. They have diffused oxygen to help with altitude sickness. The shower and bathroom are both spacious and very comfortable. Thanks to the owner for driving us to the airport.
