Staying at a hotel near the Ganden Songzanlin Monastery during my trip to Shangri-La was a fantastic experience—the service was quite good! They even gave me a complimentary ticket to the scenic area. The fourth floor is the afternoon tea area with stunning views. While staying at the hotel, I also checked out the ******* Culture Experience Center on the third floor. It offers a close-up look at unique ******* culture with a very thoughtful setup and an incredible ambiance. It's a great place to take your time learning about local customs and offers a truly immersive experience, rather than just being a rushed, superficial tourist spot.

Staying on the third floor was an amazing experience! The butler was exceptionally warm and attentive, responding to any requests right away. They even brought us a warm good-night sweet soup in the evening, which was so comforting. The attention to detail was top-notch, and the whole stay was just so therapeutic.

The hotel has a fantastic location, and the butler service is super amazing! They even upgraded our room for free! The environment and service at the hotel are top-notch! Breakfast features various set options like rice noodles and Ersi (local specialty noodles)! I will definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit Shangri-La!

Situated right inside the Ganden Sumtseling Monastery scenic area, you can see the golden roof of the "Little Potala Palace" the moment you open the window, framing a complete, picturesque view. The rooms are equipped with 24-hour oxygen supply and humidifiers, ensuring a comfortable and worry-free stay in Shangri-La without having to stress about altitude sickness affecting your sleep. The fourth-floor café is a hidden gem; its 270-degree viewing balcony is the perfect spot to zone out and stare at the monastery for an entire afternoon, letting your mind wander completely. The photography service here is also top-notch! The hotel butler service is super amazing, offering all sorts of travel advice and thoughtful arrangements upon check-in. The charcoal-stewed matsutake chicken soup at the 4th-floor restaurant is authentic and delicious, the à la carte dishes are also very good, and breakfast can even be customized to your taste. You can enjoy a satisfying meal without ever needing to step out. If you're visiting for the Ganden Sumtseling Monastery, staying here saves you all the back-and-forth commuting. The overall experience is simply unbeatable!

Found a hidden gem of a hotel with amazing views, definitely a five-star recommendation! The floor-to-ceiling windows offer a panoramic view of the entire landscape, allowing you to enjoy a healing vista right from your room. The service was an added bonus; the staff were gentle and attentive, and all the little details showed genuine thoughtfulness. I didn't hesitate to extend my stay.

This stay exceeded my expectations! My favorite part was the floor-to-ceiling window in the room; sitting there, enjoying the breeze and the lake view during my downtime was incredibly therapeutic. The room was spotlessly clean, the bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was good. The owner was very thoughtful and responded quickly to any issues. It's also convenient for dining and getting around. I was pleasantly surprised to find such a place in Lijiang and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a holiday getaway.

Of all the guesthouses we've stayed at in Lijiang, this one was the best experience. It's only a 5-minute walk from Songzanlin Monastery, and the decor is stylish and tasteful. You can explore the hotel's third floor, and their dinner was genuinely delicious! The Matsutake mushroom and local chicken stew in an earthenware pot had a wonderfully fresh broth. We had to leave early the next morning, and the housekeeper thoughtfully arranged breakfast for us in advance – so considerate! Plus, they even give you professionally edited photos, which turned out exceptionally well!

Overall, this guesthouse exceeded my expectations. Its location is absolutely superb – directly opposite the back gate of Songzanlin Monastery. You can simply cross the road to enter the temple. Thanks to this prime location, we were able to enter the monastery early in the morning before it officially opened, enjoying a truly peaceful experience. The room's decor and design are very unique, and it's quite spacious. All facilities are well-equipped, and there are even many books on ******* Buddhism in the room. The on-site restaurant is good; the small portion of matsutake hotpot was more than enough for two, with plenty of fresh matsutake mushrooms. The rooftop terrace offers great views for photographing Songzanlin Monastery. The housekeeper and staff were all incredibly warm and friendly, and the welcome snacks were delicious. They also have a large parking lot, which is very convenient for guests.
