Nice and cozy place to stay and a warm welcome from the host, this place is run by a family and really helpful with our luggage, book the trip and drop off to the airport.
The location is good for someone who has a car, walking distance 400-500m to the old town, nice decoration Tibetan style. 3 storey house, might not be good for the elderly with small and steep stairs, my mum was a bit struggling to walk up and down.
The bed is so comfy, floor heating and hot water.
Lovely food and cats!
Even though we were struggling with communication(I can't speak Chinese, and they can't speak English), we used the translation app for that and it went well.
PS. These days, the construction site nearby might make a noise in the early morning.

Wonderful little hotel. The room was large comfortable, warm and well decorated. The hosts were really welcoming and kind. Breakfast is basic and you will eat surrounded by animals but I loved that. Easy access to anywhere in Shangri-La old town

Great place, feels like you are at home. Room is big, comfortable and super warm. Floor heating and electric blanket make stay super comfortable during the winter. The owner family is very nice and helpful. they helped us to get a tour to balagedzong and bus tickets to Lijiang. Highly recommended!!

Nice little B&B at a 10 minute walk from the town center. The hosts are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is simple and filling, eaten in the host family’s Tibetan-style living room.

About 5 min walk to the old town. Room was spacious, and comfortable. On the downside my room was directly connected to the hall way via a “corridor” that couldn’t really be locked. Hence a little loud but still ok. No amenities but that’s also not needed. staff was very friendly. Parking was available. Wifi was good.

The room is very large and clean, with Tibetan decoration style. The shower water is very strong, and the towels are disposable. The room is also equipped with sufficient mineral water, two small bottles plus a mineral water bucket. We like to drink tea, which is very much to our liking. The breakfast is rich and delicious. In the evening, the boss will cook a pot of Tremella soup for the guests to come back. After coming back from outside, I drink a bowl of hot Tremella soup, and my whole body is warm. I feel warm and comfortable here, just like at home! The boss's family is very kind, and the couple is amiable. They will share some delicious and fun places. Her yard is very large, parking is convenient, and you can play with cats when you have time. By the way, it is very close to the ancient city in a few minutes. I will stay here next time I go to Shangri-La!
