The room was gorgeous and had an amazing view but cleanliness was a problem. The standard of service was lower than what I got used to in China so far.

This guesthouse was where I stayed after the first day of my high-road trek through Tiger Leaping Gorge. It's less than 100 meters from the 'influencer-favorite' Halfway Guesthouse. Since I tend to scoff at anything trendy and keep my distance, I booked this place instead. I was genuinely impressed! The price was very reasonable. The room was new and extremely clean. The design was stylish and tasteful. The bed was incredibly comfortable – after several days at high altitude, this was the first night I got a truly good sleep. As for the view, Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is truly HUGE. If you think only one balcony can offer the 'best' view, that's just ridiculous. The balcony here can also 'blow your mind'!!

Highly recommend this place! The location is great, right next to the hallway, and our room faced Jade Dragon Snow Mountain directly. We could see the misty Jade Dragon Snow Mountain right from our room. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. The courtyard is beautiful, and the owner is super friendly. The lemon tea made by the owner was also delicious. Highly recommend!

We booked two rooms with this accommodation. Rooms were decently clean. One of the rooms had a damp towel (unsure if it was clean) stacked with the rest of the towels. The mattress was really hard and all of us did not sleep very well that night despite a long and tiring hike in the day.
However, food at the restaurant was decently priced and was one of the best meals we had up to this point of our trip.

Stayed at the 4 bed shared room, and the bed is sooo comfy! The pillow the duvet and the blanket was the best. Nice and spacious. The owner was super lovely and helpful, there was free hot water and tea you can sip on admiring the stunning view. You could have food there too or cold beer after you hike. I’d definitely stay there again, highly recommend 👌🏽

The courtyard view is absolutely stunning, and you can even stargaze from the rooftop on clear nights! This has to be the best hostel room I've ever stayed in!

Well worth the price for the stunning views from our room. Probably the best accommodation we stayed in during our trip to Yunnan. There's a restaurant/cafe attached to the accommodation as well. If you fancy, the famous Halfway Guesthouse is like a 5 mins walk away. You pay an entry fee of 20RMB/pax but you can use those as credits at the bar/cafe/restaurant.
