Guest UserThis hotel is just a few minutes' walk from Dukezong Ancient Town. Its Wabi-sabi style decor is tasteful and chic, and the quality truly rivals hotels that cost 2,000 RMB a night. My friend and I stayed for two nights and we honestly didn't want to check out. We've already promised each other we'll come back to Shangri-La just for this hotel. Hope it continues to thrive!

Initially, I saw some negative reviews saying the owner had a bad attitude, which made me hesitate to book. But I really liked the design of the place, so I went ahead and booked it. After checking in, I found their service to be absolutely perfect.
Our Shangri-La trip was quite rushed. We arrived for check-in close to midnight, and someone was still waiting for us. They were also worried we wouldn't find the place, so they came out to guide us, helped us with our luggage, and even offered us ginger tea.
They showed us to our room and turned on the dehumidifier and oxygen generator for us.
The hotel rooms are incredibly spacious, and they even provide disposable towels and bathtub liners.
The next morning during check-out, it might have been the owner's mother who cheerfully told us to stay a few more days and offered us water and snacks.
Our stay during the trip was incredibly warm and welcoming! If I ever come back to Shangri-La, I'll definitely stay here again! (This is a genuinely good review!!!)

Guest UserOn the way to the hotel, we passed by so many horse farms and prayer flags! It was super crowded!
Today we checked into Qingyu! Upon entering, there's a big courtyard! The owner's dog came to greet us! Very affectionate.
Qingyu has a front and back courtyard, with plenty of spots for photos, and the back courtyard even has prayer flags! It's super photogenic!
The coffee shop in the back courtyard is backed by a snow-capped mountain 🏔️, giving you that feeling of being at the foot of a snowy mountain, with expansive views and nothing else in sight!
The hotel also has many ethnic costumes available for free use! And if you don't know how to wear them, the owner will help you! The 'little shop assistants' are also very enthusiastic!
The scenery is truly beautiful!

WilawanRA perfect stay for those seeking peace and relaxation. The hotel offers stunning mountain and meadow views, with beautiful walking paths and scenery similar to Heidou Café nearby. Guests receive a voucher for a complimentary Americano and cookies at the café (other menu items are available with a small top-up). The staff are friendly and attentive, and the hotel also provides convenient shuttle service to and from the railway station. Didi rides are easy to book, and the Old Town is only about 20 minutes away.
Recommended for anyone looking to enjoy nature, slow down, and experience the peaceful side of Shangri-La.

Sus. O.We booked two rooms for our family group. The room was very well-equipped and extremely comfortable. The owner is very friendly and helped us with everything we needed. Her family's restaurant next door is excellent. I would only recommend that they change their transfer service provider. As we were leaving very early in the morning, I preferred to ask the owner to book a taxi for us, because I wasn't sure if we would be able to find a taxi or a Didi so early. It arrived 15 minutes late and cost us twice as much as a Didi would have, and we saw that there were plenty of Didis available at that time. The price isn't important; for me, the important thing was the peace of mind of having a taxi available at the requested time. We had to rush through security at the station...it wasn't pleasant. Of course, this isn't the fault of the owner, who was lovely and helpful. It was the taxi driver's fault for being 15 minutes late. I would return to this hotel without hesitation because of its good location, cleanliness, and facilities.

When I came to Shangri-La, I originally wanted to stay at Songtsam Linka, but then I saw a photo of the Ritzman's grassland view from the window and immediately changed my booking. I stayed for three days. I haven't really stayed in many B&Bs, and if I'm being honest, the room was a bit cramped. There wasn't enough space to pack my luggage. Also, it's a bit out of the way, so I couldn't order takeout. However, the service was excellent. The staff were attentive and enthusiastic, and they offered breakfast, afternoon tea, and sweet soup. The aged tangerine peel red bean soup one evening was particularly delicious. Most importantly, there were many small animals on the ranch, especially two little donkeys that my son absolutely adored. Every morning, as soon as he woke up, he wanted to go see and feed the donkeys. It was a very satisfying trip.

Guest UserThis hotel is really unique, located close to Napahai Lake, making it perfect for families with kids. The rooms are spacious and equipped with smart features. The 2-meter king bed plus a 1.35-meter single bed is ideal for a family of three. We booked a ground-floor patio room, and stepping out onto the patio, we were greeted by the hotel's private green pasture. Geese, cows, sheep, and even a deer would leisurely appear by our patio – our child could spend an entire day playing here. The complimentary photo shoot offered by the hotel gave us a taste of the local culture and 'living like a local.' The evening tea ceremony around the fire pit created such a wonderful atmosphere. Just as we were leaving, the proprietress quickly brought us two bags of local specialty snacks, making it hard for us to say goodbye! We're really looking forward to our next holiday, bringing the whole family back to relax in this green pasture again!

This guesthouse was hands down the best accommodation experience of my entire trip. All that time I spent choosing it definitely paid off! The host contacted me beforehand to confirm check-in details, created a group chat, shared all the activity information there, and pre-arranged our usage times. The service was absolutely top-notch. The hotel offers a travel photoshoot, and they even give you 3 free photos. Of course, we ended up buying a few more because the shots were just stunning. They provided a delicious afternoon tea, and the bedding was super comfortable. The living room offered direct views of the scenery, though the only downside was a bit of rain, which meant we couldn't take pictures on the terrace as the mirror was covered in water. I recommend everyone stay in the cabins on the first floor; they might be a bit smaller, but you can step right out onto the grassland and play with the animals. If you prefer the main building, I'd suggest sticking to the 2nd or 3rd floor at most – the stairs to the 4th floor are a killer! There's a coffee shop nearby that offers discounts to guests, and their food is delicious. If I ever get the chance to visit Shangri-La again, I would definitely choose this place. Highly recommended!

This hotel was the best stay of my trip in Sichuan / Yunnan. I cherish the countryside and i was apply to go out of the city to enjoy the slow life, the real life with nature and animals. This stay gave me everything!
The owners, 仁安 里 and Jiren, welcomed me like a was family. I was starving and they invited me to have dinner with them. It was really nice and i felt really included into their community.
The room was spacious, luminous, and confortable with a huge bed ! I really loved staying on the sofa in the morning, when the sun was blazing. The breakfast was good and generous.
My favorite day was to discover the surrounding of the hotel, walking in the village, seeing all the cute animals (cows, baby cows, dogs, cats, poneys, roosters).
The owner was so considerate to me, he drove me to Shangri-La city center because no taxis were available. Visiting the old town, i was so happy to have chosen a hotel away from this touristic place. He also picked me up and drop me off at the train station.
I would absolutely recommend and return to this hotel. I loved it very much. It gave me the opportunity to relax, discover ******* culture and amazing people, and live the slow life.

Guest UserWe had a great 2 nights stay here. As Muslim travellers, we are satisfied with the amenities here. There’s bidet, nice view, a famous cafe right by our door step & we are greeted by alpacas every morning.
The staff are friendly and helpful too. You will need to go to the city area to find food. However it is not too far, maybe around 15 mins by car.
If you are not sure where to go, you can always ask the staff. They will help you out with their recommendations!
