It’s a great place just to relax and enjoy being at the hotel. The alpacas 🦙 and deer are so cute! They come right up to you for a cuddle when they see people 🥰. The room temperature was perfect. The night before, I stayed in the old town and it was so stuffy I couldn't sleep well. Here, it was just right, and I slept really comfortably. The owner upgraded our room, which faced the snow-capped mountains directly. It was a fantastic experience! We ordered the local chicken hot pot for dinner, and it was delicious. The breakfast the next day was also excellent. The service was superb too. On the second morning, my car windows were frozen, and they even helped scrape them clean. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the area.

I'd noticed this hotel on the prairie for quite some time. This trip to Shangri-La, besides seeing Meili Snow Mountain, I was also really looking forward to experiencing what it's like to live on the grasslands. Without the hustle and bustle of city traffic, everything in Shangri-La felt incredibly peaceful and pleasant. I truly envy the people who live here. From check-in to check-out, EMWILD Hotel in Shangri-La gave me an experience that exceeded all expectations. Service: The hotel drivers for the airport transfers were all enthusiastic and chatty local youngsters. They shared so much about the local customs and culture along the way. The front desk staff who checked me in were also very thoughtful, having already prepared afternoon tea for us. Room: My room type was the 'Sit & Forget - Vast Grassland Snow Mountain View King Room.' The underfloor heating throughout the entire room was incredibly comfortable for me, being from the North. The large floor-to-ceiling windows offered direct views of the prairie. The sunlight streaming in made the whole room wonderfully warm. I really loved the American rustic-chic style of the room. Public Areas: Outside, there's a little lamb you can feed milk to! The sunken sofa in the lobby on the first floor is super comfortable. You can sit there, watch the lamb, and enjoy a hand-brewed coffee. It's worth mentioning that the rice noodles for breakfast were the absolute best I had throughout my entire Yunnan trip! They also offer Thangka painting experiences! I hope to visit Shangri-La again when the prairie turns green in spring and summer, and experience EMWILD's 'Boundless Wild' in a different season.

The view was amazing, even more beautiful than in the pictures. The room was even more beautiful than in the pictures. The hotel upgraded our room, which had a smart toilet, an oxygen machine, heated floors, and a humidifier – so comfortable! The bed was incredibly soft. The staff were lovely; they greeted us upon arrival, helped us with our laundry, and provided a comfortable Mercedes van for transportation. We wanted to visit Yila Grassland nearby, and they gave us a free ride because we couldn't get a Didi call.
